It just means that the game was previously free, e.g. given away in large numbers.

Many games are given out for free in large numbers. They are removed to prevent abuse. See the list posted by Elunes.

You just may try to creat GA with the game you want to buy. If you can't find the game in list you can't make a GA. The only bad thing with that method it has some delay. I mean if the game is free somewhere right now, SG may allow you to creat it and then punish you by deleting created GA and blocking your account for a time

Okay so I recently just purchased Metro 2033 to give away but the classic 2010 game not the redux. I found out I couldnt give it away because it was a "Free Giveaway". I dont understand what that means. Can someone explain?
Also does anyone know a list of games that I wont be able to give away so I dont do the same mistake of purchasing the game and not being able to give it away? Thankyou :)
