Life manifests as living fractals.
Why? Because all that is, is actually life, consciousness; And because life manifests in a fractalic way. There is nothing outside of life and its manifestations. Even death is a manifestation of the living life. A fractal may seem to be just a reduced size copy of the whole, but it is nevertheless infinite because there is no small or big. Small or big are just concepts, limited interpretations that 'we' use only to communicate, to express in words. The whole infinite Universe or Multiverse, whatever you want to call it, is in fact the sum of the infinite manifestations of only one living being that is life.
One is not a separate to other living beings.
Why? Because all living beings are nevertheless all connected. Even if I communicate with 'another', in fact it is life communicating with itself, expressing itself.

I heard a theory going around that the end of the world was going to involve the sun flaring up and burning the Earth.
This was disproved, that the sun would actually be going into a state of no flares at all, which doesn't happen very often.
Otherwise, I don't agree with the "end of the world" at all, ever. It will never happen in our lifespans.

The world is fine, guys.
NASA said there is no such thing as Planet X or Nibiru, the Earth won't collide with anything and there will not be any planetary alignments for DECADES. Which is true. NASA is the only company in the world that everyone listens to because they tell the truth 100% of the time.
And, the Mayans did actually not predict the end of the world. If you google it, it says no Mayan predicted it.
All in all, its just a December Solstice. There MAY be 3 days of darkness, but seriously guys its only 3 days of no sun. like wtf nobody is gonna go crazy over no sun for 3 days. We're all fine, and when December 21st comes, you'll see. And no, the world won't collide with ANY planets. Please listen to science. :3
HERE IS ALL MY PROOF:
Planet X/Nibiru Doesn't Exist: http://planet-x.150m.com/pxnibiru.html
NASA saying its only a December Solstice AND no planetary alignments for decades: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/maya-world-end.html
Proof The Mayans Didn't Predict The End Of The World:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/alexknapp/2012/01/04/no-the-mayans-did-not-predict-the-end-of-the-world-in-2012/
These are ALL trustful sites and groups. So guys, please don't believe the idiots saying its going to end, as there is much more proof from where this came from that it won't.
NASA is pretty much the God's of science, so all the stupid "END OF THE WORLD" sh*t can go down the drain. There is a 0.001 in a four hundred octillion chance it will happen.
Everyone, believe me, it will not happen.

You deserve a medal for making such a popular topic that nearly everyone got involved in. And I just don't say "You Deserve A Medal" to anyone.

if the world didint ended in 2000, then why it would end now.
i think the world is not that fucked enough to end up, probably in some more centuries, but just in case, ill try to enjoy every little bit of skyrim before 21, also what is with people panicking about this? there is nothing they can do, whining and criying its just going to make your last moments miserable.

Do I think the end of the world is coming? No. Do I think something major will happen? Yes. It could be something due to nature or it could end up being entirely self-fulfilled prophecy <--- that's the part I'm most worried about. I expect the world to be a dangerous place for a day or two until we all figure out that the world is not ending... I'd most certainly be happy if I'm wrong, but with all the stupid people there are in the world today, they may just spark something that would never have happened otherwise.

I believe in it as much as I believe in a Corn God, kicking human heads for sport, or extinct Mexican tribes.

What's the difference between an American billion and a European billion? I've never heard of such a thing.
PS Our sun won't implode, thankfully for us. It won't explode either for that matter. It will gently expand to a red giant and then gently back down to a dwarf star over the course of many billions of years. In fact if humans play our cards right we can easily survive this event without leaving this star system, or even this planet.

there is no difference between american and european, however the english language billion is different from other languages (or at least german, don't know for others). English billion = 10^9 would be "Milliarde" here. German "Billionen" however is 10^12
At least thats what I learnt at school,to be honest I am not sure if british really dont have "milliarde",we basically learnt more AE than BE

I believe he says that because in some places a billion means a thousand millions and in some others (for example where i live) its considered a million of millions
its also known as short scale billion (10^9) and long scale billion (10^12).
i think americans use short scale and europeans use long scale, but not very sure about that
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah! An European million is a million of millions whereas the american one is a thousand millions AFAIK.

Just like in dec of 1998 (I think it was) and Just like y2k and the 20 other "World will end dates* this will be no different. However when you put something like "As we know it" well that's happened a lot in the last 100 or so years. Think of the invention of the steam engine. Trains plane and automobiles (great movie) the public introduction of the internet. Cellphones so on an so on. "the world as we know it" ""ends"" but we are faced with the birth of something new. Even if some end of world event were to happen, unless it completely destroys or makes this planet unable to sustain life. We will just be faced with a new world for better or worse. Just like always, it's what we make of it. Sadly as humans we tend to make the worse of the situation (gotta love that lizard part of our brain)

Well, I suppose there's gonna be more crime since "why the fuck not, it's the end of the world anyway", so I'll try not going outside for a day or two.

the world can end for any person at any time, death awaits us at all corners and we are drawn to her. but dose it really matter how a person die, or should we, more importantly, should we be asking our selves are we truly living.

It is not belief.
It is hope.
Humanity needs a reset, decimation, or a wake-up call for the least.
There's so many stupid ones.

This particular doomsday date wouldn't have gotten so popular if the History Channel stuck to WWII documentaries.
It's disgusting that some are preying on the weak minded, but I feel the most for Guatemala who are going to be overrun with idiotic tourists.

Very sincere and serious talk intended by OP. No trolling or provocating, please. Even though this is definitely not one of the best communities on the Internet I'd still hope to be having a sincere discussion.
Now people start panicking over the 21st of December for no reason and I simply can't stand it how people fail to do their research and seriously believe in one of the many "oh the world is going to end" hypes.
So, who of you, after doing research, still believes in the soon to be "end of the world as we know it"?
