Reserved for Updates:
Instructions: Treat it like a typical text adventure game; use examine, look under, go north, etc. You can type HELP at anytime, as the game can sometimes need specific ways of typing something.
Update: I goofed real good. Whenever you find the 'connecting clue' I'll call it, the last part should be WT not SL

I actually never played one of those type of game, but always been incredibly curious so I'll give it a try.
Regardless, congratulations on finishing your first game, that's amazing.
Also, great choice for a giveaway. LiS is a awesome game, although gotta say I liked BtS a lot more and would even recommend to people that never played the first one to play it before Life is Strange (I mean, you gonna hate Max, but thats pretty much unavoidable regardless of which one you play and I do believe makes the first game stakes a lot higher).

Thanks! I appreciate it. I love LiS, but yeah, Max definitely has her flaws lmao.
For sure let me know what you think of the game, I'm super positive that there are things that need to be improved. Unfortunately, the program used to make the game requires players to type things specific ways sometimes, so that will probably end up being the biggest user complaint. Hopefully it's not too bad though. I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks for giving it a try.

I started to play but had to stopped, though I intend to comeback (probably tomorrow or the day after) but yeah I enjoyed it so far but there were moments I had to type a lot of stuff that seemed the same for the game to understand which it's a bit hard for me because:
a) I have no experience with this type of game
and b) english is not my first language and my writing skills sucks. (Reading i'm fine, I just don't know the rules so I've mostly memorize how to write a lot of words.)
I don't know if it's possible or would ruin anything, but would be great if there was some kind of list with the commands the game understands. I looked in the "Help" and theres only some examples, but I may had missed something.

I completely understand. It was frustrating to play through it at times when I would try a typical command, but it would want something more specific. I think the most used commands would be: Examine, Look Under, and Read.

In future you'll be able to use this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/657180/The_Adliberum_Engine_ADLENGINE/
(dont think the multiplayer and player uploads are available yet - though my have happened recently).

Dude, I didn't know this existed, this looks great. Thanks for sharing I'll definitely have to give it a try.

Nice, thank you for playing! The rusted locket is meant to be the toughest part, I think. The key is hidden pretty well lol. It takes either a great guess, or reading something that gives you a clue to where it is.... maybe that will help? lmao

One (or two) of the stones have something available to help you.

Ooo, this looks more intuitive and less frustrating lol. I'll give it a look, thanks!

Yeah! So, the first step is making sure you have 4 different letters and 1 number. Then, how you find the order is from something you read in one of the rooms (trying to not be too obvious... let me know if you need anything else).
Edit: Also, the thing that tells you the order is messed up. The last SL should be WT

A number? I found seven letters, and I think I know how to select the right one from the three - giving five letters in all. I also know how to sort them in the correct order. Obviously, it doesn't work because I'm missing a number...
I thought I had read, examined and looked everywhere. But no number... :( A hint, maybe?

It's in the North Tunnel. Read something that was in there :) Also, there should only be the 4 letters you need. I'm not sure the seven letters, maybe the letters from the spiders lair is what you're including? If so, only one of those letters is needed. You can find which one of the letters by finding how to open the locket, or just guessing out of the three :)

Hi all!
I just spent the better part of this day putting together this text adventure puzzle game. The most frustrating part was figuring out how to upload it so you guys could play it... it took an hour alone to do, but I did it! I started using Inform7 a few months ago, but never finished my game. I thought a good motivator would be to make a game for others to play and get a giveaway from. It worked, I was motivated, and I finished my first game!
The game being given away: Life is Strange Complete (Ep 1-5). It is open for a week!
This text adventure game is developed to be kind of difficult, but not super hard. It has plenty of clues to get you through it. If it does end up being too hard a puzzle, I'll consider putting some more clues here.
