Just Cause 4, cause I'd love to see the entire franchise in my library, as I've all the previous games.

i know this is not what you're asking, but still:

if i were you i'd buy a Factorio for that train. or even better What Remains of Edith. winner will remember you forever.

(voted Valkyria, tho, 143/143!)

Factorio is such a great game, fantastic for multiplayer too! I had a blast playing with about 20 other people to launch the spaceship (had to be careful to avoid getting run over by trains, lol! :)

Valkyria is my choice, i think its way more layered and complicated game to Just Cause. Valkyria Chronicles 3 was amazing game, nice story, unusual graphics and good variety on missions where great. And i was bored immensely in Just Cause 3 after third of a game, ruining same enemy bases became repetitive chore.

Definately Valkyria Chronicles 4

I guess the poll isn't helping much. I chose Valkyria Chronicles 4. Although I did not play the initial 1-2 on the consoles, I have watched the Anime, the anime is interesting. I have yet played 3 but I have only heard good things about it. I saw little gameplay on VC 4. It looks good though I did not look in detail.

There seems to be too much games of the genre of Just Cause 4. The console games are making a wave into the PC/Steam. Therefore, personally, I like seeing the attention given to them whilst VC 4 also provide a different type of gameplay towards those who had been playing the JC series.
Cheers, Cruse~

Pushing JC4 a bit further with my vote. You're welcome, almost 50% of people who voted in the poll.

Hard to decide between those two. I played through Just Cause 2+3 but did not finish the first Valkyria Chronicles even though I have it twice (Steam+PS3).
Voted for Just Cause 4 because I thought it would appeal to more people here. But apparently I am wrong.

I voted for Just Cause 4 simply because I found Valkyria Chronicles to be so bad... stodgy dialogues, not interesting characters, one animu girl that was prepared to die since we saw her to add "dramatic tone" to the game. I tried to beat it, watched ending on yt and only then forced myself to end last act.

But VC 4 may be better. Or so I hope D: And Just Cause is simple "blow up everything and hijack planes" game

Definitely JC4, it's loads of fun and you don't need to be invested in the franchise to enjoy it, JRPGs are more niche, surprised that the results are so even.

Oh and you've been making many great giveaways right off the bat so props to you for your generosity.

None of the Valkyria games are JRPG. Just sayin'.

My mistake then, they look anime as hek.

Oh, they are. The story of VC1 was the most anime thing I ever saw. But the gameplay is still vastly different than in any JRPG. :)

I've been reluctant to play it since there's so damn many of them and they're very time consuming. People here don't seem very stoked about it either and yet the vote is tie.

I personally won't enter the giveaway of either of those games, so I didn't vote. Just because I'm not interested in any of them.
BUT, thank you for your generosity either way ;) .

Hm, there is a game about a jerk with roughly one personality trait running around a large map and blowing stuff up, albeit in a ridiculously fun and flashy way. Very mid-2000 GTA-ish, but somewhat diminished by the fact that roughly half of the AAA scene is composed of games that provide exactly the same to their audience. (Plus, well, we all need some Saint's Row IV in our lives once in a while.)

Or a visual novel with complex storytelling in the backdrop of a tragically dark war, including some incredibly anime characters with astonishingly overblown emotions, fused into a third-person turn-based tactical simulation game where people sometimes have to wait a minute before the next chance of shoot at something.

I am surprised they are this neck to neck. Valkyria Chronicles is almost a niché game with its strange mixture of non-compatible mechanics. Either the forum-goers are a rare breed who appreciate slower games with more emphasis on character development and strategy (not that the series is actually difficult, it is an art to lose any battle, unless you want to get super-duper max ranks in every single scenario, including the DLC difficulty levels), or tired of games where your entire reason of existence is to blow random shit up for no really tangible gameplay or story reasons.

Or both are equally expensive and new (so carry the same potential resale value), so difficult to choose which one would one idle for cards. If this was a front-page community poll, that would almost surely be the correct answer.

I think you're overthinking it and the boards are just 50/50 split between weebs and non-weebs, voting according to preferred presentation style

So much regret! They keep swapping between who has more and when even. At this point its gonna ve like pass the parcel. Stop it randomly and see who ended up with the most points at that moment in time

I finally voted for VC, but this could have gone either way. I loved JC 3, it was an absolute blast, and so I'm confident that JC 4 would be good. But Valkyria Chronicles is one of my favorite games ever. I just really hope VC 4 is going to be good - the last Valkyria game was rather disappointing.

Thanks in advance for your generosity. It'll be a great giveaway either way.
