I had no intention to buy anything so can't say much about discounts. I'm glad that I have "team PIG" badge :)

Wait ... you don’t have a free Choice where to use these discounts on? ô.o

I don't understand what you're talking about. For example Borderlands 2 and South Park 2 are sold dirt cheap. I have 72 items in wishlist and 55 of them are sold with a discount from 50% to 80%. You want -99% on new AAA games, right? Never gonna happen.

Because somehow, every sale is worse than the previous one :D

The Grand Prix event is a bit of a clusterfuck of features and unnecessary complexity.
But otherwise, as per usual, if I'm looking to buy games, I'm able to find deals for games I want for prices I'm willing to pay.
Otherwise though... BAD SALE, WORST IN UNIVERSE!

I came here for the drama and all I see is hidden GAs. Meh bump :P

Man, you can't even get trading cards from discovery queue. Worst Sale Ever.

Nice giveaways :)
Am enjoying the sale, got some decent discounts on some of my wishlisted games - now, do I just go without lunch for a year and get a pile of them or just the ones on "historical low" price? Conundrum.
I like the discount we can get from the tokens but am bamboozled at how to really get the most out of my car- seems to be out of boost most of the time :)
(Team Cockatiel - apologies for slowing you guys down, or is that not speeding you up?)

This could have been so much simpler and less confusing...
Log in each day, receive 100 tokens. Spend money, receive tokens. Choose to support one of the 5 race teams, get entered for the game draw if your team gets the most votes for the day. By trying to make a confusing-as-@#$% "game" out of it, they've just pissed a lot of people off.

The sale itself is as mediocre as the last 4-5 sales. The sales gimmick, the grandprix, is by far the worst I've ever seen. It has so many design flaws... It's almost a joke. I've been thinking about how the meeting for this sale went:
Valve employee 1: We should let people choose their own team, they won't all pick the same one, right guys?"
GabeN: Great idea! Amazing!
Valve employee 2: Let's count old achievements, so they don't have to play anything, just idle for 30 minutes!
GabeN: Genius!!!!
Valve employee 3: We only give them 100p after the first day...
GabeN: So many great ideas! Y'all deserve a raise!
Seriously though, did they let the janitor design this? Honestly, most of us could have done a better job designing this shit.

Hey, no need to be mean to the poor janitor. I bet he would come up with something better than this sad excuse for an event :D

well actually it took me 2 days to understand how this game works and it seems that the event itself is not broken however the quests are broken at least for me . the total max points is actually increasing by 100 each day but that's it , you will need to spend money to increase the max points limit but not the nitro boost meter limit which is 100 and resets to 100 everyday so without spending anything the max points you will get in the event cannot exceed 1200 points which can get you nothing. i'm really dissapointed with how Valve Steam made this event especially with the growing competition between the stores . this event is the complete opposite of fun and just a waste of effort and money , even during the lunar sale you were able to claim 5$ discount voucher when spending 30$ and another 10$ voucher after spending another 100$ and still have enough coins to get the emojis and backgrounds and the badges you want but here you need to spend at least 138$ to be able to get the 5$ voucher at the end of the event and by doing so you will have nothing left to claim any badge or emoticon . not to mention the starting points sole people got while spending way less than most of us prior to the sale . to sum it up this worst event ever and i already started getting some of my wishlisted games from gmg and gave up on this summer sale event , for the other games i'll just wait for them to get discounted another time since there is absoloutely no point on spending my savings on steam during this sale

I mean, wow.
It won't even give $10 discount on games above $14.99... Courtesy of Epic™
Can we even call this thing a Summer Sale anymore?
