Catz vs dogz?
I like dogs. Ideally big dogs rather than little yappy ones. Those are the pets I grew up with and that I'm happy with.
I don't currently have dogs because I'm not in a position to look after them properly. I do have a cat that started following me about although it mostly acts like it hates me. My girlfriend also has some chickens. I thought the cat would eat the chickens but it turns out the chickens steal the cats food.

That looks like a lovely dog. This is the dog I grew up with, who wasn't quite as big but still used to greet people by putting his paws on peoples shoulders and licking their faces...

Is that a malamute? It has very similar colours to one of our dogs which is a border collie x malamute. Ours is very small in comparison though, only ~24kg.
In any case it looks like a great sport. I'm in total agreement - big dogs are awesome.

I live out in a rural area, so cats/dogs are less pets and more... umm coworkers. Cats keep the small pests away and dogs, the bigger stuff like people and foxes and raccoons (trash panda's... more like giant fury murder moles). They make sure my precious ducks and chicken are safe!

I'm a cat person myself. Less maintenance and they are so adorable! My Franklin comes and cuddles with me every night when I lay down. ^.^

I prefer dogs. I had one with me, my best friend until a few days ago, but he became very sick and died. I miss him.

Dogs if you want a pet, cats if you want a room mate - one that's rather low maintenance, cute, and still a pain in the ass sometimes.

I use to have a jack russell chihuahua mix... Lil' thing was a great pet.
After a decade I finally have a new pet, a cat. Not as hyper but she plays fetch better then my dog did... all he wanted to do was run.
