Catz vs dogz?
I don't see any reason to choose between the two. I have both pets and enjoy both. I personally like cats more for a variety of reasons, but felines are strict carnivores and thus it is very difficult (if not impossible) to feed cats a vegan diet. I enjoy the company of dogs, but they generally demand more maintenance and interaction than cats. Fortunately, dogs are omnivores and thus can live healthily on a vegan diet. Based on those dietary concerns, I would consider dogs to be the more prudent decision at this time, despite my predilection for cats, though I find the question itself to be rather silly and would object to the poll requiring us to choose between the two.

well the cats stay in the bedrooms since they dont get along with the dogs, so he doesnt have to see them. the dogs he just stares at, i think he's either confused or entertained by them.

I like big dogs too, but that's a lot of work. I had two Bernese, I loved them, but no more dogs for me :/
I HATE small "dogs", so pointless, ugly and vicious.
Cats > rodents > big dogs > birds > fishes > reptiles > the rest. Small dogs are in the very bottom. Fucking spiders are the last and should be killed with fire for a better world.

Sure there is bigger, but it's closer to a pony than a chihuaha. Especially ours, they were overfed (70kg for the second one).
My first Bernese was strong enough to beat the shit out of the crazy Great dane of my neighbour when he escaped of his cage and probably considered to rip my brother and me apart. The neighbour forced him to live in a 3m x 2m cage in his own shit, fed with raw meat. As you could have guessed, he became out of control (Pets Protection Association didn't even care about our call...).
The neighbour came after a couple of minutes to stop the duel. Of course my Bernese got wounded and had many stitches, so as the Great dane.
I don't know if this mad dog would have attacked my brother and me, but he probably would have, and we were like 7 and 4yo, we would have lost. Guess my wonderful Jimmy saved us this day :3

That's the best tactic for the old HOMM Dwarves, definitely. To my shame, I haven't played Hammers of Fate yet.

I'm not much of an animal person, and I'm very allergic to cats.
Still, we have a dog (for the kids). My daughter also has a hamster, bearded dragon and a fish.

I like cats and dogs equally. Right now I have a cat named Pedro and a Cavalier called Rosalie and they get along pretty well with each other. I do feel like cats get such a bad rap though, when dogs can be just as problematic sometimes

Dogs. Cats are like plants, not particularity needy or affectionate, just remember to feed them regular. Dogs can be a pain in the ass to deal with but can provide affection and motivation to exercise. If I were to get an animal that you just have to feed and clean up their litterbox, I would pick cuter ones like ferrets.
The first two are curry, my late ferret. The third is Rocky who was my mom's and then there are our Harry and Tigger.

I like both. But only have a dog currently, a medium sized poodle that can jump high and fast enough to tackle a person.

dogs because they want friendship and they are loyal and usually have one personality;unlike cats which have split personality disorders and only care about food
