Region locked games - now all the games - Steamgifts giveaways problems.

Today I noticed that all Steam digital goods now have this:

Notice: Gift purchases for Mountain can only be added to the gift recipient's library if they are in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

As far as I can see I am no longer able to create giveaways for users all over the planet. I got bound with RF and CIS guys only.
I feel so sad, so unfair! Correct me if I am wrong please.

you can still trade for not locked copies with people living in EU or US and give away these. But other than that - yes, we're all pretty much screwed and no more cheap games for us.

i said trade for - meaning he may trade keys/paypal/whatever for more expensive but not locked copies. And I know several russians who are lready doing so just to fullfill their GAs they created wanting to buy them later on sales.

you can always buy steam keys from resellers (like for example gmg) just dont buy steam gifts from kinguin or g2a because they probably havent done anything upon the region locks yet

The worst part in my case (and I'm sure plenty of cases) is that I still pay in USD and at exactly the same price as in the USA so being restricted to my region makes no sense.

than just buy in the US Shop - Games from us and eu shop have no region lock and you can use it on your region than

higher priced region -> lower = no region lock

Low priced region = have the region lock but cheaper games

I know this is an old post but I guess I wasn't clear. If I buy from STEAM I get games restricted to my region (Latin America) even though purchases from my country are still in USD and at the exact same price as the USA. So the restriction is asinine for purchases made from my country but we still get it nonetheless.
