Great game, it can be tricky to catch up, depending on what faction you start with, but the game is very rewarding, and makes every turn count. Combat wise is simply amazing, the scale of it, and the intuitive controls that allow you to meta and micro rather fast makes doing even unbalanced combat exciting, as you CAN win if you play smart.

Best Total War game in the series imo.

Install it? Trade it? Gift it? Fill it with pesto and chopped black olives, coat with breadcrumbs and call it an hors d'œuvre?

If you like Total War type games, don't think twice - just install and enjoy.
