for a game that underdeveloped? with iffy comments? early access? yes. What's insane is how many elitist pricks are on this page

The problem is imho not that early access games are not worth the price but that it's somehow become normal to pay devs full price for an alpha/early beta and test their game for them. While it can be argued that most people don't buy into early access to help the devs find bugs lets be honest they will end up doing it, the majority of people that run into a bug will at least bitch about them on either the steam forum or the dev's forums. Games should be cheaper in early access since the devs are getting free QA out of it. I'm not saying they should sell everything for 5 bucks or something but selling the game at full price or some of the pathetic 5-10% off we see most of the time just seems wrong.

well if you factor the proportion I payed for this from the humble amnesia fortnight a year or two ago I probably paid around 20 cents for Spacebase.

Just remember that youre basically buying it for what it will be rather than what it is.
Its pretty great so far, lots of interactivity, plenty to figure out and all that.

Another perspective would be this: 'Anything to support our friends at Double Fine'.
Also, to support charity, if you are not a fanatical friend of the game developers at DF.

have not played any of their games ..yes I know its for a good cause , but am not going to buy every bundle...I was just shocked at the price of a game that's still in Alpha. (yes people who think throwing their money around makes them better can go ahead skip trying to troll me, am immune). the last game I bought that was in alpha was "under the ocean" very interesting, promising game, however it has not been updated in a long long long long time....and that was just a few bucks....so MAYBE if Spacebase-df 9 was in Beta or something, at least a demo...but for that price? no way...

I don't think I'll buy an early-access game anytime soon, because I got Interstellar Marines when it was 15 or 20$ on Steam (with trailer saying price would only go up - like with Minecraft) and the price only went down on sales and now it's in a 1$ bundle. I didn't even have the chance to play the game for 2 months more than everyone else, because the game only has deathmatch multiplayer mode which gets boring after a couple of hours. So I would say it's not worth buying it unless you are doing it for the charity, etc.

It seems much for early (super) access game. and the steam price is insane....
think it will be much cheaper in summer sell?
the idea of the game sees cool, interesting so i would like to play it...but the price seems wrong, even for a bundle (none of the other games I want)
