cg clearly stated that he is OK with comments generated by ArchiBoT as long as they're in touhou giveaways only, and are not spam (it's information for my members). I asked him myself.

I think he is saying that support can check the analytics for evidence that several machines with different screen resolutions connect to the site, thus proving that his household has several different machines connecting to SG.
(however that wouldn't be evidence that different persons use those different devices. I , for instance, only have one SG account (duh) but I can access it via two different computers... and two different mobile devices if I want to)

Analytics do keep track of machines resolution. I know because I use google analytics to track visits on my website, and it reports what OSs are used, what browsers, etc... but also the screen resolution of the visitor.

fair enough. i was only considering basic http not extra stuff collected via javascript. i don't actually use google analytics (nor do i allow it to report on me) so i don't think about it.
