Guys this is very impressive! Great work and thanks a lot for all the games! =)

I'm having trouble with the passwords and other puzzles... Will I have to explore the whole underground hoping for another stranger to slip me a note in order to solve them? :/

5 days now, almost done with all the lines, got like 12 stations in Central left.
I'm beyond impressed by all the work that went into this. But I had a question about the Hammersmith & City line, at the first couple stations starting at Hammersmith end you guys had it connect to Circle, like Goldhawk Road. When looking at the map they don't seem connected or close until Paddington. Is this one of those cases where the map makes it seem far but in real life they are like across the street?

Did you see my response in the Ladbroke Grove station?

This train deserves a few bumps! Thanks to all who contributed.

Sorry but you have to censor every ID seperatly like you have at the beginning, so that we can see that you actually found 390 GAs, we can't count them if they are hidden behind this big ugly grey square D:
Also the 5th line is to thin, you can still read the IDs D:

WIZARDRY! BURN THE WITCH!!!!!
that's one awesome bot tho... :(

Nah tbh im picturing a barney 'challenge accepted' and then you turning the bot into a GA finding machine :P
Nevertheless it's a very well coded bot to have found all GAs.... and the puzzling part is.... there are only supposed to be 380 stations... WHERE ARE THE 10 STATIONS I HAVE MISSED!!!!!!11!1!

I can assure you that bot did counting correctly :3
There are no duplicated or non-existing giveaways. In worst case somebody could link inside his giveaway a link e.g. to his other (public or invite only) giveaway, and that counts too as it was found during recursive searching process (while it may not be connected with 380 train stations).

There you go, I expected nothing less. Please tell, how long did it take you to code & test the thing until it worked?
However it's not nice how you leaked the GA IDs in chat, even though I in this case there's probably not much harm done as it's a small group of folks and it'd be a royal pain to collect all IDs and recreate the URLs. It'd be almost easier to write a recursive scanning bot for that.
Also I'm surprised you found 390 GAs, I only found 381... but that's with human eyes, not the perfect HTML sight of a bot :)

Not many were leaked, only those that would tell me how bot was going through your network, so I could check that. It was used for debugging process only.
Also, folks on my chat are too busy with weeaboo trash to make any silly things with the data posted there. You know it :3. Not to mention that data is not sensitive at all in terms of going through the network, and most if not all of the users that were there went through the train already. List is not public to be found anywhere, and going through the train is much faster than each GA link invidually.

It took me around 60 minutes to write proper recursive code that will start from point A, and find all hidden giveaways recursively. Most of that time was spent on fixing my own algorithm so bot won't falsely check any giveaway he already checked twice, and will finish eventually with returning proper results, while doing all of that in effective, optimized and SG-friendly way. Writing recursive algorithms is always challenging, as they require much more knowledge and are far more complex than usual things I code into my bot.

Thanks to all contributors but one! I joined a couple.

Thanks for the awesome giveaways guys! At first I was like HUH!?!?! Then I was like WHAT?!?!?! Then once I figured everything out it was delicious... I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

Bump and thank you! I got to visit a number of places that I'd probably only have gone to in real life if I'd fallen asleep on a train!

It's with great pleasure that we announce the immediate launch of
Let's Train: London Underground "Mind the Gap" Edition
We recreated the London Underground network of 11 lines and 270 stations as a community giveaway train network on Steamgifts. Every station (giveaway) is on one of the lines, and links to the previous and next station, as well as to all other lines that stop in the same station (we have multiple GAs for stations that share multiple lines). That way we ended up with 380 giveaways from 66 contributors for the complete London Underground network.
Enter the London Underground here, and remember to MIND THE GAP!
After less than two days of Early Access we finally mounted the last few remaining signposts, and worked tirelessly to address all the bugs and issues reported by our 47 early adopters, including how to deal with blacklisted GAs and bringing the site back online (thanks cg!).
Oh, a quick note for those who tend to get lost easily: we recommend the official tube map as your guide through the London Underground network.
How long will you be open for the public?
Until Saturday 17. October.
Thank you
Thanks all who commented on the original thread, and specifically a very big thank you to the group of people who worked so hard these two weeks to make this happen: Nudiustertian, Momo1991, eeev, trentjaspar2, adam1224, Bloodcloak, josgba2002, Sinovera, SexyBudgie. Please consider them for a spot on your whitelist, even if only temporarily during this event!
And once you're through, consider sitting through the Daily (Mail) History Lesson just for fun :-)
