"Exploited CD Keys"

I have an extra boxed copy of Portal 2 I'd like to give away the CD key for. I read in the FAQ it says not to post "exploited" keys without proof of purchase for a list of specific games, and Portal 2 is one of them.

This part of the FAQ is a little unclear in my opinion. What exactly am I supposed to do to create a giveaway for this CD key and at the same time stay within the rules of the site?

Take a pic of the box (hide the key obviously) and ask support.
