Where does one stick of 8GB DDR3 Ram go? I don't think I installed it correctly, it's in Slot 1.

Gotta check the manual for your motherboard, it'll indicate how the RAM should be installed.

I checked the manual when installing it didn't seem to actually say with one stick.

One stick, two stick, three stick, four stick. It should be the same process regardless. If you're installing one and it has instructions for installing two, just stop half way lol.

It does not matter where you install it if you have only ONE stick.
Care must be taken only when you have 2 or more pairs,as you must put them on the same channel so they work in dual channel memory mode :)
