Note: I had previously made 2 successful trades with this person

On his Thread he listed "Humble Indie Bundle #3". I messaged him asking if the key was BTA, I didn't expect it to be and it wasn't but he said he found the key "randomly" so couldn't promise. We continued with the trade, I went first with cards then he delivered the key. The Key he gave me was for the "Humble Indie Bundle 4 Extra Bonus" This was not the full HiB 3 bundle (https://steamdb.info/sub/13132/) and only included 5 of the 7 games (This is the HiB3 https://steamdb.info/sub/8866/). I told him that I didnt get the full bundle, he told me that it was because the extra 2 games were BTA, which they werent. He then said that it was the "original" Humble Indie Bundle 3, which was not stated anywhere on his thread.

I do not know what to do, any help would be much appreciated

' If he meant he 'found' it during a key drop here for example then that is different'

As an experienced trader I can tell you, the worst thing you could do is to outright call him out and leave a negative rep. Making an enemy out of potential sellers/buyers is not a good idea.

It's partially his fault for not knowing the contents of the key, and partially yours for not asking him to go first, neither is really to blame, but both made mistakes. Yes, the whole "found" thing might seem a bit shady, but chances are he found it in his email inbox or in a text file on his desktop from a trade he made a while ago/ when he bought the bundle. So give him the benefit of the doubt unless you're seeing red flags in every other aspect of his behaviour.

The best thing you could do right now is to explain the situation, ask for a bit of compensation (like a few cards back) and then move on, no point dwelling on something like this. You'll be able to buy the remaining two games eventually. Take care and trade smart. :)
