Which one of those speakers would be the best? Quality of the sound is the most important to me.

Trust GXT 629 Tytan 2.1
Sven MS-2050 2.1
Edifier R1700BT
Fenda R60BT 2.0
Logitech Z533

I know that some of you who are very well versed in the subject might say that there are better ones out there - I know, but I need something good in the price range of the ones I enumerated above :)

This is very time sensitive, I need your answer in the next few hours, at the most.

I'm counting on your help! :)

Update 18 DEC 2024: Thank you very much for your help guys! I ended up choosing Edifier :)

Seconding Wirecutter as one of my main go-tos for deep dive consumer product research. If they say it's good, it's great.

From a quick search, Edifer seemed to score well in the review ratings...

As a disclaimer: I don't know anything about audio. But Trust is a budget brand so I would stay away from that. Logitech is okay, but their expertise is PC gear, not audio.
I don't know how good Edifier is, but they are an audio focused brand, so I would lean that way.

Disable Peak Limiter in Windows Audio Engine
Software to disable peak limiter, which is forcibly applied and degrades the sound quality.
This prevents Audio Engine from limiting the amplitude of sound to approximately -0.13dB.
This requires Windows Vista or later.

If you try this before attempting to replace the speakers and feel that the sound has changed, it is probably worth replacing the speakers.
Surprisingly, I feel that the choice of audio equipment is the one to pay for this little db difference.

If you can find Bang & Olfusen, JBL or Sony in your price range, those are likely the best bet sound-wise.

I'm not familiar with Trust or Sven so I can't speak on those. The Edifier R1700BT sounds better than the Logitech Z533 and Fenda R60BT 2.0.

If these are your only options then I'd go with the Edifier.

don't buy Edifier without a subwoofer, the bass is non-existent

i would buy a subwoofer with Edifier for sound quality
if i want to keep things simple i would pick LOGITECH
avoid Fenda Sven Trust

I would prefer Edifier, if you can invest a bit more I can recommend S1000MKII but R1700BT seems good for the price range.
Logitech is not that bad either, for a complete package with a Subwoofer it’s probably quite decent.

it depends on what you're looking for.
assuming you want an all-rounder (gaming, casual music listening), the logitech is the only suitable choice out of those. it won't blow you away but it won't blow the bank either, all things considered.
if you're wanting to spend more money, go with the edifier and get a subwoofer for it. or look into other brands. there are subreddits dedicated to this.

I own a pair of Edifier R1280DB, they've been with me since 2018, they are "small" but they PACK A PUNCH!

Based on my experience with it, the price, the build quality, the sound quality, I can vouch for Edifier. If mine are only 42W according to Edifier, I'd really love to someday upgrade to their ~150W+ options with a subwoofer, must be heaven.

I ended up going https://www.jbl.com/loudspeakers/STAGE+A130.html a few years ago, there isnÂĄ't one "best" really and its hard to measure and compare sound. But I think this website was really intersting delivering reviews and comparing different metrics between components https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?pages/Reviews/

happy to hear that :) did you end up adding a subwoofer or are the speakers good by themselves?

They're good by themselves. I have a subwoofer connected to my TV with a Sony Soundbar and I watch all movies and shows on my TV. As for the games, I play AAA games on my Xbox so I got it there as well, I use Steam mostly for indies and classics or casual games :) Music is great with the bass that's on those speakers, I don't feel like I need to add additional subwoofer plus I listen to the music on my TV as well very often (Apple TV 4K + Apple Music Loseless + Sony Soundbar with subwoofer) :)
