I tried searching if this was suggested before but didn't find a thread about it (wich doesn't mean it doesn't exist, so excuse me if that is the case)

Wouldn't it be useful to have more languages in the FAQ and Guidelines tabs other than English and Russian? This nice community has people from all over the world and many would happily contribute with translations, I can help with the Spanish one.

What do you think? Would it help in improving understanding in the functioning of the site and its use?

Yes.
No:

Well, the site is English and you are encouraged to talk it here. If you can't read the FAQ in english, then an english site is not for you if you don't understand it.

Yeah, I think there was a translation project that was abandoned for this exact reason.
Although they should remove the Russian version to be completely on point with their logic.

Granted, we all use english here to understand each others but I think that the FAQ (and Guidelines), being a sort of "presentation card", with more languages would be better... As a matter of courtesy and "accessibility"

Yes i understand your point (:

But i think that would encourage people to talk with their native language, and forum would be a mess

No worries, man! The title doesn't include any of the content so noone culd actually find it when they are looking for languages or whatever I suggested.

Hahahahaha,ahahahaha,muahahahaha!
NObody READS FAQ&Guidelines, and why do they need translations then?
If they want to read and understand it - they'll do it and if they don't - that's not SteamGifts problem but theirs...

Also, I heard an epic myth there are some books called dictionaries and you can even use them 0n-line...
And something mystical about stuff called "translators"
