Welp. Code was wasted.
I stopped right before the payment to check if I was getting a good exchange rate and the order got cancelled and now the code is showing up as invalid/used. All support could offer me was getting the 20% back as balance which I refused since I didn't want them to have the option to screw me twice.

I don't understand how kinguin can have such a shitty system
I've bought things online from more places that I can remember. this is the only one where not going through with an order uses any codes you had on it to be used.

their support is actually not bad. just tell them what happened and ask if they can give you a new coupon.

I did. All they could do is give me the 20% back in balance, which I don't think is good enough.
They are pretty useless/powerless.
