Get bored, looking for some rougelike games.

As simple as that. Do you know guys any decent games with permadeath and some randomness - basicly rougelikes? Actually I also want them to be free and not ASCII :D Obviously I do not care if they are for steam or not. Thanks in advance

Also, it's browser based so no need for a download.

Been a while since I played any but I do remember enjoying Castlevania RL. It didn't necessarily have the most depth, but I enjoyed it. For something with a more meat I'd say go for the already mentioned ToME.

I've got BoI almost 100%ed. Except I had some bug that reverted me some in game secrets (but I still have them on my steam acc thou). Need to beat shit out of ??? with Samson and Eve again :3 But I don't feel like BoI right now :)
I also do enjoy Dungeons of Dredmor on steam :D But still looking for something fresh :) I'll try out this Desktop Dungeon thou

Basically, I support this entire post. IVAN is particularly brutal and unusually quirky -- any game in which you can cut off a critter's arm, pick it up, and beat the critter to death with it gains bonus points.

While not strictly a rogue type game, and certainly not a freebie, FTL shares a lot of common ground with the genre. It's well worth the price of admission if you haven't already got it :)

I had a lot of fun with Dungeons of Dredmor (it's still being actively developed, with patches and DLCs)... if you like its humor, otherwise there are quite a lot cheap indie roguelikes around... (there was a bundle too somewhere, with like 4 or 5 roguelike games)
