House M.D. is pure genius, Game of Thrones is pure awesomeness, Castle's good too, Arrow if you're a super hero fan.

Helix. Just started, found it better than expected. Probably because it goes more for Survival Horror than Sci-Fi Action, at least in the pilot.

Being Human. Try both the UK and the US versions - while they start of almost identical, they diverge fast and you'll probably prefer one over the other.

The Blacklist. Also relatively new (half a season in). Recommended if you like crime dramas, especially if you like a villain protagonist.

Game of thrones still is like the best show atm.

But you cant replace Brba.

What i do recommend you is to watch "The shield" kinda old, but its excellent.

Re-watch it.

Battlestar Galactica - Best sci-fi series ever!
Fringe - It's a bit like X-Files but a great arcing story.
Community - Brilliant comedy, though it takes a few episodes to settle in so stick with it.
Spartacus - Because it has boobs and violence :)

I liked John Doe, unfortunately cancelled after just one season.

I think you are fooling yourself if you think that anything will seem "quality" after just finishing Breaking Bad. You should watch something older, and tongue-in-cheek.

Then once your brain has adapted to something other than BrBa, then go and watch Game of Thrones.

X Files. All of them. In one go.

In the old stuff there is bunch of classics so it's a no brainer, i might mention blackadder, the ww1 one.

In the recent stuff i am surprised that nobody mentioned Vikings, or Band of Brothers+The Pacific. I already seconded House Of Cards.

I am going to check Hell On Wheels, but i haven't seen that one yet.

The pretender and Higlander were good but they might have "aged" more than something like MASH or Planet Of the Apes ( the original )

Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who (power through the older episodes and you'll love it), Sherlock Homles (season three just started!), and maybe I guess The Dome if you're into that kinda thing, it's poor compared to any of my other suggestions though.
