I'm terrible, 55 wpm at 98.9% and that's good for me. I expected around 35-40wpm.
Good luck to those who enter!

hahahahaha*cry*
- I blame using too many different keyboards throughout the day. ;)

It can really depend on what you have to type, this is much more representative of my actual WPM because it has more punctuation and has more words.

So close... well, I've only made a few attempts yet, I might improve it once I've given my fingers a rest! Didn't expect to be in the upper percentile though 😄
Oh wait, I just noticed that I'm at least the top newest submission, even if you added the rule retroactively 😋 Thanks for hosting this contest! Finally something I'm good at.

I don't know what to say. I'm glad you're used to it, but I wish you didn't need to be.
I can sympathize as my dad has it. Thankfully celebrex helps somewhat with the joint pain/inflamation but I know it doesn't work for everyone.
xD I can imagine her confusion, just as I empathize with your frustration!

Ok, I give up. I was able somehow to reach 60 in training mode, probably by pure luck. But it's the best I can do in the actual race.

Seems WPM result depend on luck a lot. Which text will be chosen: easier text, shorter words, lesser punctuation => better WPM.
Me better result after registration:

Yeah it's pretty funny going from a single sentence to a whole paragraph, but I love these typing games. I get a lot shakier the more I do it, so will prob come back again later. :)

Also hate the way it's handling mistakes, i even had a good text and my cursor went over to the ranking.
And it does really matter what text you get.

oh yeah, whatever text you get is huge. of course, for the race portion it doesn't really matter since everyone is typing the same thing, but for this leaderboard it can make all the difference. looks like the website gives a score based off the text you got, with more difficult ones giving higher scores even if you had slower wpm or more mistakes.
luckily this here is just for fun and we can play multiple times to choose our best times.

Yeah, but i was supposed to be so proud on my typing skills, i did a temp job on data entry once and had to get a certain wpm per minute and i believe i scored 120-140 back then, although I used gloves though (against sweaty hands) this time. Keyboard can also matter.
But I mean it was more fun and better if they just neglected your mistakes and let you continue, and then just count the mistakes in the end.
Anyway you put my name up twice, and there is cece with 80 above 83 scores.

Nah, my primary layout is Cyrillic, so no chances here, I'm obviously way too slow since I basically only type in English here and on Steam forums. Well, at least my accuracy is high enough.

Yeah even AZERTY layout make it harder.
Also, it's really odd having to read while you type. I'm a really fast typer and I don't need to look at my screen when I type so having to read at the same time is distracting. If it was an audio, it would be much much faster.

highest I got so far was 93 with 100% but it was literally
They don't know our world but they know their own.
and that took 3 attempts. It's like it know I cant do stupid '
Best im gonna get for now. Maybe i'll come to it later
