Aand thanks :) I like the idea for force people to play the games :D I like giveaway groups well, for the slightly bigger chance of win one from the few games I'd like to, but also to find something new. But I have the feeling that I won't make too much of a fuss about giveaways :P

Your welcome ^^ And correct, because the chance gets higher you can make a better selection (and hopefully not allot in vain). Feel free to check upon a winner or not, as creator you just have the intend that you would like to see people play your game and people joining have the intend to play it. :)

Your the first level 0 to join ;) Better be playing when you win!! :P Given that the winning chance is low and there are also many game collectors, people who are planning to play it "someday", this should increase the chances.
Also check out this group, I see you are already four months around but did not win anything yet:

Thanks, :). Yeah I guess the reason for not having gotten a game yet is that I don't enter every competition but only for games I know I will actually play. Otherwise I'd rather have the game go to some other lucky person.
Thanks for the heads up on the other group :).

This sounds interesting, and will most likely lessen me making excuses to myself about why I'm not playing the games in my library. I also really appreciate it when the winner of my giveaways actually play the game I gave away so I think this is a great idea! I'd like to join, please. :D

I've send you an invite :) Indeed there is no mandatory GA, just the joiners intend to play the games they will join is enough. There is also no restriction on the GA quality, there is an open discussion about that in the group already, but it's just about GA creators giving away a game they'd like to see being played. Of course, group members must be willing to join, so we'll see how that goes.

Hi Shadogor, your profile went to private while one of the group rules it that you need to have a public profile. Please change it back to public at your earliest convenience if you like to remain part of the group. Please understand that this is needed in order to check if you are playing the games you may win in this group.

I recently came a bunch of requests from suspicious profiles. So I tried to somehow reduce the activity ...
Now my profile visible to friends only. Maybe I can just take you as a friend, to be visible to you too?
Or profile need to be open to all?

I'm sorry to hear so. It needs to be public for our API and any other user that might want to check your progress. You can block profiles with a click of a mouse, see attached screenshot - then you'll never hear from them again. Also a regeneration of your trade link (if you use it) might help..

I actually enjoy the last game, which I won from you - "Brothers, a tale of two sons". I would like to join, may I? :)

I'd love to join. I have somewhat of a backlog that I'm planning to tackle in the near future, but since I only plan to enter GAs on my wishlist, I'm certain that I will play whatever game I win. This group would be a nice way for me to start clearing my backlog since I would have a game to start.
Thanks either way :)

Hello, could I get an invite ?
I like the concept of a group not wasting games that will be GA'ed just for cards or +1 in library or backlog...

I've been member in Groups requiring like 100% completition or something! If you don't have THAT strict rules, and just want us to play the games (which seems really resonable, I mean why win it if not play it?) then I'll gladly join you guys! :)

Introduction
Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month. In return members will get higher chances of winning games they want and creators will know their giveaways have a high chance of getting played. The group has more than 1000 members and over 25000 historical giveaways.
