SteamAPI works in a ways only Valve understands.

It used to be like that:

All games or DLCs listed here were synced: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ginatonik/games/?tab=all As you can see majority of DLCs are not listed there, which means SteamAPI does not report those. And SG can't sync them. Steam should move DLCs to separate tab from Games, and start to report them all. That would make some sense at least.

Now it is like that:

SteamAPI will sync games that are listed on your games/?tab=all unless they are Profile Features Limited games. Those are not synced, even when they are shown on this page. It is also not possible to sync games which were banned by Steam - they are still visible in your library, but not on your games/?tab=all page.

Both problems arose from fact that Steam started to turn into pile of trash, with "Developers" uploading tons of shovelware that sometimes was even missing .exe file to start it. They were releasing tons of poo, as people were buying it in "60 games for 1 dollar" bundles to farm cards or get thousands of achievements.

I think it started around time when Valve resigned from Greenlight (which had it's own problems of buying votes for promise of the free game in the future) for being able to list your game with a small fee. This opened floodgates. And instead of trying to moderate their shop (which would require effort) - Valve did nothing. Only after it was not possible to find any good game among this garbage they started to "fight it" - introducing user-based curators; not allowing card drops + achievements + counting those games in your total games statistic when game has "Profile Features Limited" tag; adding user scores; and finally banning most toxic developers.

Still those are only half-measures that base their work on algorithms. As it's expensive to pay for worker that would install game and see it's utter garbage, and should not be in the shop. And we will most probably see even more "broken" SteamAPI in the future, as Valve will try to find new ways to fight with this junkyard (that their shop became) without actually have some quality requirements for games in their shop.

TL;DR: SteamAPI gets more and more limited in which games it reports, and we can't do anything about it.

I recommend you to hide all games and DLC's that you own.
That set the risk to enter them if they get banned from the steam store -or such cases- to zero and in the case of DLC's are the normal steam api don't work, so it's the only way that you don't see it anymore at the possible Ga's to enter.
