Am I the only one who thinks Warframes prices are way too high

I can't be the only one who thinks this
So I was browsing Warframes shop and was thinking of maybe buying some platnium when I noticed the a basic warframe is almost 30$ I mean seriously even some of the colour packs that only change your colour and dont affect your game in any way are pricey
In the freetoplay game War Thunder with 30$(5000 premium dollars) you could buy 2 Premium planes (about 1000 premium bucks each) a 7 Day member ship (650) ,extend your hangar capicaty (300) and still have 1700 premium bucks left
In Warframe 30$ can get you a new warframe or with that much you could get a helmet and maybe some colours
i would go into more detail but I dont know much about this subject and im giving mostly my opinion
I really want to love warframe but the grind man the grind for new warframes is just un bearable

Welcome to F2P. War Thunder and Warframe are two pretty egregious ones but there's a lot more examples out there where the premium currency is just fucked.

there was a pack that gave away $10 worth of in game currency for 1/2 price (or cheaper) ive personally seen them on bitmit

What's wrong with you? Materials and blueprints for EVERY warframe in game could be collected in few hours. If you are too lazy even for that, you can pay $30. Plus there are 75% discounts for platinum (ingame + in Steam).

I've played Warframe for over 500 hours, have almost every warframe (Mag is bad, so I dont need Mag prime)and weapon in game. But I bought platinum only to spent it on weapon and warframe slots. Stoped playing for a while, because there are very high resource requirements on 9+ rank weapon. I stop playing F2P when it requires greending. Re: in Warframe this time dinged after 500 hours of nice gameplay. Nice gameplay, so I regret nothing. Unlike 2 weeks of wasted time in Lineage 2.

but if you're like me and barely have any time to play it (owned it for almost a year have only 27 hours in) its almost impossible to earn anything

With games like this you have to decide what's more valuable to you - time or money. If you own it for almost a year, but don't have time to play enough to farm shit, investing 30$ is not that much, if you actually enjoy the game.

Yeah, the prices are too hight, but the game does not require you to buy any platinum.

Ya I agree with you :P I got tired of grinding after 9 hours of game play :/ but there was a bundle for the plats
