Gotcha.
I didn't see a thread with this exact solution with the search function, so I thought I'd toss it out there. I've seen a lot of discussion about creating separate levels for region restricted GA's, or getting rid of restricted GA's as it is. While I'm pretty partial to creating separate levels, CG has stated that he is trying to keep the system as simple as it can be, and I feel that could add a lot of complexity to the system, and maybe discourage new traffic.

Instead, I argue that when adding to the bundle list, only regional pricing should take into affect. That is, if a game reaches X%(let's say 85) off world-wide, and a GA is created that is region restricted to X region (Russia or others), they would still get full CV, even if the region's price is over 85% off when converted to USD, whereas the current system, everyone would receive bundle status. This would reduce the complexity of the current system, reduce the workload of the bundler, and in theory, increase the number of Giveaways for games, most notably i'm thinking of the recent Wolfensten, the Evil Within, and others, where we saw a lot of people saying how they won't give it away because of the bundle status.

I do see how it allows others to potentially "game the system" more, but with all due respect, those that wish to, will. Increased regulation won't stop that from happening, it just dissuades others from beginning. It is my opinion that if users disagree with others getting full CV for a regional game, that is what the blacklist button if for. Nothing is wrong with the current system, and i'm happy with the way it is, but I do think this could be an improvement on an already great system.

Yes, here's a GA

Should regional pricing differences be taken into account when managing the bundle list?

Uncrowded can be given away here? Would have sworn it was given away for free like seven thousand times already.

As for the idea: generally in my experience the more you try to complicate a system like that, the more loopholes emerge one way or another, or the more problems it generates.
