Gift - How to receive?

If it has not been more then 7 days, all you can do is wait and don't worry about it.

Some people can take days to send the gift, some people will send it within the first hour of the giveaway ending. I've heard of some others waiting till the 7th day to send gifts, why I don't know seems silly to wait that long, unless you have an actual valid reason.

First of all, just because you have won a giveaway an hour ago it does mean that the giveaway creator is not sleeping on the other side of the planet at this very moment. Also, if you check the winning page, you will see that the giveaway creator is granted one week to present you the gift.
EDIT: and of course it also applies to your own GA, so you do not need to stress about being online and gift immediately when it ends.

The gifter have up to 7 days to send you the game. People will do this either by email or by adding you to gift directly. (Depends on the person.) After 4-5 days, if you haven't received anything, it's usually OK to add the gifter and remind him about the giveaway. (Adding people right away is considered rude by many.)

Once you receive the game, don't forget to mark it as received on your profile. And if ever the gifter didn't deliver within 7 days, you can mark it as not received and move on.

Seeing how it is The Ship - Complete Pack, it's most likely a Gift, not a key. Keep a lookout for a random friend add, that's how I give my gifts. For keys, I'll make sure it is not already added to their account, then just send the key.
