I am not that sorry lol. They didn't lose anything. Also it is call of duty :P And I am not sure but this could potentially be seen as calling out. Be careful friend.

How could this be seen as a calling out if already past 7 days?

Their name is specifically in it. I have seen people be suspended for less.

Also you are asking "What do you think should happen to this person?" which makes it pretty obvious calling out.

Because I think people who do this should be punished severely, it is very difficult to win a game and when you win, it happens!

And that is exactly why this is blatant calling out is my point. What he did is against the rules but you are breaking the rules right now.

Pointing out the rules to someone who placed THEMSELVES in public view isn't the same as 'calling out' someone who has yet to break the rules. The giveaway didn't end THAT long ago, so there is still no call for the attempt at directing a lynch-mob at someone who may very well still intend to deliver.

It wouldn't be unexpected for them to have simply forgotten about steamgifts after making the account for the purpose of giving away the spare copy. The person who won the giveaway should just try opening casual, friendly contact to remind them. :V

When you win a fake giveaway you don't become less likely to win other giveaways.

Unless he pulls out his other giveaways for points for entering a fake giveaway with high points.

Which is a fair comment (both you and PieceOfMind), but we haven't even proven it's a fake giveaway. A single week is hardly concrete proof of a fake.

Hear hear. I'm just saying regarding fake giveaways in general.

Hahaha... for once a Quadriple AAA game giveaway that is not a fake (description). And then the guy winning has 1650 games on his account... which probably is why the creator decided not to give it to him - which is fine if/as he can probably live with that (one) warning.

And actually it was marked not received exactly one week after... the dude doesn't sound to me like he's online every fucking minute of his life, unlike all of us. Might have given it after 2 weeks... probably won't happen now.

If creator gets many legit not received marks,oh well you know what happen...even if creator was in week and over offline for reasons(work,e.t.c)

He was online 3 days ago on steam and it is a gift open to all, no matter how many games a person has in their library.

The account was made a week ago and instantly makes a giveaway for CoD ghosts? And you're defending the creator based off the description only? K

+1

This is the point I'm getting at! He did not do it unintentionally, he knew what he was doing.

Why not defend somebody who makes an account with the express purpose of giving away an unwanted/unneeded copy of a game? Even if you disbelieve their claimed reasons, that doesn't make this any less of a call-out, and is against the rules.

If you want to start a pointless lynch-mob then at least wait a reasonable length of time for christs sake.
