Any app ideas? EDIT: I have an idea!

In theory. In practice they are so cheap it's ridiculous. Very few people have an original idea in their head and it's useless (and worthless) all the time that it's in their head. What's not free is the hard work that goes into implementation, testing, marketing etc. etc. etc.

As a developer, I'm constantly bombarded with ideas from people who think they've got a great idea like: "It's like Facebook, only it has 'Dislike' as well as 'Like'. It'll be massive." or "It's like Angry Birds, but instead of birds, they're snakes." or "I have this AMAZING idea, you hold your phone up and press a button when you hear a song you like and it tells you what the song is and where you can download it from"

Or, the idea I had the other day, an animal noises app, for when a child says "What noise does a giraffe make?", turns out, it's not all that original... (If you can't be bothered to follow all those links, they're all different FREE animal noise apps.)

tl;dr Unless you're rare as rocking-horse shit the ideas you have are unoriginal and even if they're not, they're worthless until they are transformed into a marketable product.
