So I've been looking for a decent PC to get lately, preferably a desktop. And I'm thinking about getting an Alienware X51. Its specs are:

Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64Bit

8GB (2 X 4GB) Dual Channel DDR3 up to 1600MHz

NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 640 1GB GDDR5

3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-3330 (6M Cache, up to 3.0 GHz)

1TB SATA 3Gb/s (7,200RPM) 32MB Cache

DW1506 Wireless-N WLAN Half Mini-Card

240W External Power supply

Would this computer be good to get for games like Far Cry or Skyrim? It's $750 and that's about the most I can pay for a new computer. Any other suggestions? Thanks

EDIT:
Used some of the links that people gave me... how's this? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/onecarmel/saved/1yjV

Don't buy alienware. IMO it's like CoD in gaming, overpriced turds.

Build a desktop by yourself, a lot better.

To be honest, the 640 might be a bit weak if you are planning on gaming in 1080p on highish settings. + Im not a fan of having an external powersupply.

And dont forget that if you buy an alienware you are paying quite a bit extra for the little head on the case
