Pretty sure its capped, I went from 90 to 134 and didn't really see an increase. It's 4-7 days, I keep track of every booster I get.

It's uncapped, but even that 15× chance for booster drop at lvl 900 wouldn't mean much when you have 75 tickets in the raffle instead of 5 where 10,000-500,000 people play…

Even if that exists– I never heard about it before though– it will exists as one booster/game/week, not one booster/week. On the last three sales, I have received more than one booster a week (granted, I rarely ever get a booster outside season sales).

Yeah, most people seem to craft badges during the sales (I think a booster drops when someone crafts a badge for that game, not sure though)

Yeap, that's a requirement for a boost to drop. A person should craft a badge for a game and a random guy gets a booster pack of the said game. :)

i think if you have more games u have more chances to drop, the lvl isn't that important

as far as i know there is only 1 person with acc over 900 lev and has over 1300 games which can drop pack ;)

Getting all card drops does not equal having a full set. It might very well be that you only get the same card from the drops, but it will still make eligible for the boosters. You just need to get all drops for that game.

Whenever i level up my Steam account or adding some games ( mostly when i add multiple games ) to my account, seems system pull me in the circle of booster pack reward. I don't think Gaben's system gives you free money if you give him nothing! :P

I never crafted a badge for Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising (only dropped the cards than sold them) and I got a booster pack for it today.

Once you have received all of your card drops, you become eligible for a booster pack, which is a set of 3 trading cards that may include both basic and foil cards.

Yes, this is correct and is even in the Cards FAQ. So whenever you get a game with card drops, try to get those to drop ASAP as it means you are eligible for a booster sooner.

Yes, ofcourse. That's the one and only step. To be eligible for a booster pack, you have to farm first the cards from the game. I know that ^^

It was in my first post, but I am level 52. Just waiting on some boosters to finish more sets. I don't buy many cards, just if I happen to get a foil, I sell the foil and buy the non-foil version. I figure I should 60 this Summer, and 70 next Winter.
I'm not entirely convinced Level plays much part. I know they say +20% chance per 10, but two colleagues of mine who are both under 20, get them far more regularly than I do. Random just hates me.

been on steam 5+ years had 0 booster packs drop and have been sat at my level since they invented steam levels which is i think 25 lol
some people get them others don't it's RNG like winning giveaways ;)

- Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
- Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
- Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate (i.e. the rate has doubled)
