What happened?

For the first 2 or 3 days of the sale on Valve's Summer Sale group thing where they put up a post that talks about each daily deal, they talked about adding more 'activities' later on in the Summer Sale. For whatever reason, they just stopped mentioning that. Why? What happened? The sale is over half way completed and they haven't added anything. Hmmm... Do you think they dropped the idea?
