But the Vampire: The Masquerade OWOD franchise is still going strong and getting new releases!

Yep!
I should probably explain that one before someone gets upset with me. Back in 1994 White Wolf got the rights to make a Street Fighter pen & paper RPG. At this time they considered everything they made to be a part of their World of Darkness setting, and this included their Street Fighter RPG. While later additions to the SF series were never included in any source books, what they released for their Street Fighter RPG (which was based on SF2) is officially a part of OWOD, even though they most likely want you to forget about that.

The entire Wing Commander series, even a redux version of the original games with same story line and missions but with new game engine and graphics would be an instant buy for me if it ever came to be.

SWAT and Vampire no doubt!
S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Cold Fear, Socom, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, Left 4 Dead, Chrono Cross

Megaman X, damn it! and Legends... fuck you capcom...
Bloodrayne could make a decent comeback as a 3rd person action game, with real guns like the first one, not that blood based thing from the second game.
also Zone of the Enders... that game (specially 2n runner) was awesome, one of the best PS2 games ever...
and sword of Etheria (again, for PS2) just with better level design.

Rise of Nations
Though given the Studio is dead and most of the staff either got absorbed into other studios or are busy making an ass of themselves on Kickstarter doing some stupid also-ran clone of something popular, or something which fall far short of their pedigree, it's unlikely to ever happen. We're more likely to eventually get a kick-ass new AoE...that's always online.
Frelancer - And no, Star Citizen does not count. I want a game exactly like Freelancer (and all offline should I want it like that) just with shiny new graphics and a new story that I don't already know almost word for word.
And I'm also still waiting for something that delivers the NFS Rivals (or rather NFS - Hot Pursuit (2010) and before that NFS 4 - High Stakes and NFS2) message in a package that doesn't totally suck like Rivals does.

Whether it be a reboot, remaster, prequel, sequel, or (why not) pre-sequel.
For the sake of fairness, try to limit your lists to 5 franchises.
I would also like to know why you picked what you did, and what kind of treatment you'd like done to it.
Here's my list:
Although wonky at times, this is a very entertaining "whodunit" kind of deathmatch game. The sequel the devs were making definitely deserved to have their kickstarter get funded, but sadly it didn't, but i would have liked to see where that went.
This title is still pretty spooky, although scary games in 2001 aren't that scary in 2014. I'd like a reboot/remaster from the team that made Alien: Isolation, I like the way they think.
Tactical crime fighting the relatively legal way. I'd want a multiplayer only reboot of this game, only because having to control 4 cops without any kind of tactical vision was a bit of a choir. Of course with Sierra back in the developing game, this one might happen.
It's a contemporary vampire rpg that's pretty entertaining. I'd like to see a sequel or the very least a reboot, mostly because I have no clue what's happening storywise.
I actually really liked this game, probably do in part to never playing the old Syndicate games but still. Don't get me wrong, there a lot of things I didn't like (including but not limited to its dumb story, very disorientating HUD, and clunky gameplay), but I think a sequel would have a ton of potential to fix the mistakes its predecessor made.
Have fun!
