So, I've just been diagnosed with a mallet finger meaning I have to wear a splint on my index finger , right hand for six weeks. All this means is I cannot use a mouse very well or a controller so I'm looking for games in my library to play solely with one hand on the keyboard or very slow paced so my mouse control has time to kick in.

Edit: Thanks for the fast replies, lots of games to attempt. Have a gratitude giveaway for your trouble http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/PrKBm/goodbye-deponia

Heroes of Might and Magic and King's Bounty series if you're into turn-based strategy.

anything Turn-based be it strategy, RPG, puzzle or whatever else should be fine - you can take all the time you want to operate the mouse and do your turns.

I think you can play Monaco using only WSAD and spacebar.
You can also have fun with LUFTRAUSERS this way.
VVVVVV uses only 3 buttons.
And I'm pretty sure that you can play most of the shoot 'em ups/shumps.

I cut a tendon in my index finger on my mouse hand, also had to wear something around it, Could actually still mouse still, now i would not recommend point and click adventures, but it was still doable.

Yeah though i had worse pains (wisdoom teeth pulled).
The finger stays bent forever, i could get it operated but then i have to wear a splint for 6 weeks again, and it's no guarantee the operation would be a success.

This is exactly what I am going through (with the no fix guarantee too), top tendon snapped. Mouse is usable but feels very unnatural and sluggish.

All Asian games. Rumours say that all these games have to be able to be played one-handed since the players in China and Korea are full-time smokers... ;)

Can't you just rebind the buttons on your mouse, so you use your middle finger for clicking, or if you have buttons on the thumb side, use these as your LMB or RMB. Maybe it's just awkward the first few times, but it might work out and your not bound to use keyboard-only games.
But well now it's still a great time for you to get into turn-based games like X-COM or The Banner Saga :)
Get well soon!

Footballmanager 2015 or one of the earlier titles should be playable with one hand on the mouse, as it dosn't involve presicion shooting, clicking and so on :)

Fotonica. It's a runner game where you only have to push one button. I found it extremely comfortable, because I could snuck into my bed, play it on the TV, have the controller under the sheets and only use one button to play this whole thing. Super comfy. :D
