I feel guilty for just taking!

Voting no because even though I am unemployed, there are ways to make money to buy Humble Bundle Monthly.
I make giveaways for what I am not interested in.

Rereading it, poll is rigged.

I don't think you really need to worry about it... You've given away so much more than you've won, I see no reason to feel guilty ;)

Ffs, do whatever you want. We define our own path, so don't wait for others to tell you what to do. You're free to leech as much as you want and nobody should tell you otherwise. :3

To be honest, this just sounds like a pitythread. Like a way to have people say "Oh, you're unemployed, it's okay" to reaffirm your own belief.

If so, then... why?
Also, if it's the case, then you'll probably feel disillusioned when someone says it's not okay and gives you a valid reason why you should/could afford gifts.

As to me... it doesn't matter to me.
I have no job and I gift stuff. But, that's just me.

EDIT: Do what EsE said below me. Give when you can. Don't put yourself out just so that some internet dweller could get a +1 to their libraries. :)

Gift when you can and because you want to, not because some pressure

Use Tremorgames or sth. alike, if you're feeling guilty. Or stop entering GAs. Or stop feeling guilty. And way more important: good luck on the job search!

I know that little pang of guilt, but at the same time your own life needs to come first. Don't worry though, the fact you have given away so much means that you are FAR from a leecher. People aren't required to give away games here, and we all do it because we want to. It sucks that you want to but can't, but you're still cool. Hell, I still have a job (albeit part-time) but scraping cash together for giveaways is tough. Bundle leftovers are all I manage these days.

In the end, there isn't even anything wrong with leeching, given we're free to mark giveaways as limited by CV level. The only buttheads here are the ninjas and the auto-enter-for-everything bots. Stay passively active on the forums, be cool to your fellow SGers, and it's all good <3

Enter giveaways for games you really want to play. Your ratio will be fine for quite a while yet. Life is tough for now but you never know whats around the corner. Keep your chin up and gift when you can. Best of luck on your job hunting and hopefully you be giving away games soon.
