Let me put it this way... is spending more than maybe $5 tops for a SINGLE 'rare' weapon, which you could use to buy a DLC for most games, really worth it? Let alone two times that? Let alone the cost of a game? Let alone the cost of TWO games?

This - it really boggles my mind that people can, and will, hoard knives worth hundreds of dollars instead of selling them off to spend them on games. Some people are really too vain...

While i would never spend such that kind of money on cs-go trinkets,at the same time people spend godly amounts on games and bundles,most of these people who tend to collect this stuff pretty much only plays CS-GO.The way i see it what does it matter if they play one game an spend hundreds or if they buy a bunch of games and spend the same amount and most never play them all?
As i said i would never spend that much on silly trinkets nor do i get why anyone would spend that much,but i do understand why some do it,because it is the only game they really play.In fact even while getting GTA V and Fallout 4 on GMG i still spent almost 80 dollars,far more then i spent on the rest of my steam games,and far more then a lot would still spend for them lol.

Ask yourself if the amount you're paying for "pixel art" is worth the time you spent getting the money.
Paying for pixels without any function besides "beautifying" (dubious) a virtual in-game item that could loose it's 'value' at any time.

It's a good price if you plan on keeping it. But if you're buying it to trade on it will be very difficult to move. Simply because not many people are looking for Scorched skins, and even fewer would be interested in a FT one.

I'm buying knives when I see them cheap on the market. I sell them when I see a nice profit.
But ingame, no one really cares if you have a nice knife or not. The downside is that people will add you because they want free skins as they think you are rich.
