On Sega Genesis games have good music. I think u can play sega games on PC too.

Oddoworld Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus both have incredible soundtracks that match with their sad and twisted worlds, it's all creates atmosphere against the backgrounds and places you visit in the game.

Check out London Philharmonic Orchestras Greatest Video Game Music (and it's sequel). Has some pretty good stuff.

Strike Suit Zero has some good OST, Specially tracks "Signal", "Black Fleet" and "Credits".

Rockof Ages has a nice OST too.

Sanctum has a nice relaxing OST.

Orcs must die has a decent one.

Painkiller has some cool tracks.

Alan Wake OST is nice.

Deus Ex Human Revolution, Mass Effect 1 & 2 (Mass Effect 3's Soundtrack had some of the greatest gems in the Mass Effect discography, but it was overall inferior)

Just realized earlier that Flight Control HD has a good soundtrack if you're into that kind of thing.
