Ever have a favorite game in a genre that you general despise?

Well, it's a very unique puzzle game. You get to twist and turn the world clockwise and counter-clockwise to alternate how your guy sees the world. The puzzles are unique, some are really easy, but some are challenging (Especially if you try to 100% the game!). I really enjoy the art. Not really much to say... But as a person who doesn't enjoy puzzle games much, this game really caught my attention.

As for the thread - I'm not a huge fan of racing games but love the Gran Turismo series (can still remember my pride getting all the licenses on Gran Turismo 2 on PS1) and Burnout (yeah, couldn't be more different!)

hate all MMOs and all games that include transaction like the free 2 play games. i use to enjoy TF2 now i hate it. they make it trade fortress 2 not team fortress 2 :/

Not exactly the case but similar: Hate MMOs and especially MMORPGs. However, I used to really like RuneScape when I was young, innocent and apparently very STUPID. But nonetheless it had a great story. And still does- too bad it's developers got corrupted and turned it into a huge mess with PayToWin elements. The MMO genre rearing it's ugly face indeed.
In fact, it might have contributed to my hate of the genre... ^_^

I don't really like MMORPGs now, but the only one I did like was Runescape back in the day, it was probably one of the first videogames I ever played, and definitely the first one I played extensively.

Portal and Portal 2 are probably the only puzzle games I like.

Frozen Synapse isn't an RTS :P for me the exception is Planescape: Torment, I'm not much a WRPG guy but that game was awesome

Uh, Frozen Synapse is not an RTS. RTS = Real-time Strategy. Frozen Synapse = Turn-based strategy.
