Is it okay for someone to not give feedback after activation?

I gave away a game and he activated it.I've been waiting for a few hours for feedback.Nothing.If there is a rule I want to know,I only know of the 1 week one that is applied to the owners,not the receivers.

Well I taught that rule only applied to the submitter.Well my bad ^^
