Haven't done this enough times to really say. The first one had the most entries but it has been going down since then. Not sure if peeps are running out of games to play, or if the first gib was the most popular. All in all, I don't expect to get more than 20 entries for this one but you never know.

If you do desire an increase in the number of entries and you suspect it is due to people running out of games maybe as an alternate allow others to complete a Humble Bundle in a month [3 games that have been in T1 of a bundle, 2 games that have been in the BTA of a bundle, and 1 game that has been in a tier higher than BTA].

Fair enough and I doubt you are alone on this. I don't think there is a large amount of peeps banking wins in the hopes I pick something from their wishlist, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn there is a handful of them doing so.
As for your suggestion to get more entries, it just seems like more work on my end (which I hate XD). Keeping it to just monthlies may dampen the number of entries I get per event, but it also simplifies the event as a whole and I'm cool with that. So long as I keep getting a decent amount of interest, I keep this going.

Fully understandable, it was only a suggestion for if you desired to increase the number of people that could be able to enter the prize. If you are happy with the number of people that are currently able to enter then of course there would be no need to have that extension.

Actually it's way more than I expected! Six games is quite a lot or maybe it's just me :) so I suspected up to six participants. It's a great motivation to get rid of some backlog :) I don't remember what games you've given away previously but this month's prize is stunning so it might attract more people. Wish you good luck with this event! I think it's one of the coolest things for community alongside Playing Appreciated, BLAEO and similar projects.

I've played 2 events and it's already getting a bit rough for me. If I were to just take the shortest, unplayed games I have right now it would take me 33 hours to beat this event, and that's not considering my playstyle of playing games to 100% completion (we can easily triple my playtime there). I'm not running out of monthly/choice games to play, but the ones I have left are long enough to be unrealistic to beat in a month, so if I really work hard at it I can probably participate once more and then I'm out.
I skipped out on Resident Evil and now going to skip out on Borderlands because those are sequels to games I haven't played, and it's likely other people may think the same. If we just look at just GreedFall and Temtem, GreedFall is #24 on the community wishlist while Temtem is #70 so there's an obvious difference of interest there.

I try to pick games are high on the community wishlist at the time of creation but with some restrictions (no pre-orders and sold as Steam keys). I was going to go with Trials of Mana last month instead of Temtem, I decided against it at the last minute since I know JRPGs is either a love/hate thing for many and Temtem has broad appeal. I might change my mind in the future though, since I tend to pick the game on the day of the event.

Hmm yeah I probably wouldn't have participated for that game. I think the only way to know if the decline in entries is because of the choice in games or the event becoming more difficult you'll just have to throw in the great, almighty Cyberpunk as a reward, but I get that it goes against your criteria lol. Borderlands 3 is #2 on the community wishlist, that's a bit surprising considering how much crap the game got when it first came out, but maybe that means you'll get more entries this time?

Honestly, I really hate the restriction on regional pricing on Steam. Even though I'm RoW, since I'm not the most expensive one, I can't guarantee that it won't be a headache to deliver Steam only games. Sometimes I luck out and I'm within the band that covers most countries, but it is not something that I'm inclined to try outside of peeps I know well.

You are crazy for 100% Crash Bandicoot. I love the games and I replayed it about a year ago. Just as frustrating as I remember it (well the first one at least; felt they got a bit more fair as time went on).

While trudging through trying to get the gold/plat relic on Stormy Ascent I had a few moments that I just went, "Why am I still doing this?" 🤣 Then I finally got it and after that, it was just smooth sailing and it was really fun.
I enjoyed Crash 3 the most because of all the new moves and because it felt easier to get gold/plat relics compared to Crash 1 and 2.
As a kid, I never played Crash 2 and 3 but I played Crash 1 and I remember that I tried to get all the plat relics but I kept getting blue relics on almost every level no matter how hard I tried and I remember thinking, "To hell with this, back to playing Spyro." so I gave up and went back to playing Spyro. XD

198X Beaten! Welp, didn't expect it to be so short! Graphically it looks great, but it was not exactly fun. More like an idea than full experience... I have played Stories Untold as bonus to make up for 198X being so short! I like this one, it was almost too short, but quite well done, story-wise.
Monster Prom Beaten? This game has a LOT of endings, I have gotten about 8 or 9 of them, and have seen over half of the events. After playing over 13hrs now, I'd like to classify the game beaten. I'm not sure what your stipulation on what classifies as beaten in this case. If I have time I'll go back and play some more to at least try and get some more of those achievements.
Q.U.B.E. 2 Beaten! Pretty crap that almost half of the achievements are DLC though, which I don't own. It's a good game, the story was a little cliche, and the puzzles/settings sometimes felt the same. I kinda preferred the first one. Apparently the DLC improves on things, but I shouldn't have to pay more to improve a game's shortcomings! :P
My Friend Pedro Beaten! Pretty cool game, took me a while to understand the mechanics properly, but it's the sort of game you get better at the more you play. It's probably worth another play-through(s) with the different modifiers that you can collect. One chapter was bizarre, and the ending, lol.
Nairi: Tower of Shirin Beaten! Super cute setting and characters were kinda cute, though not really any deep growth. Some of the puzzles were really obtuse - made no logical sense at all, or you had to do it a specific way for it to work - especially in the last part of the game. It's recommended only if you don't mind hit your head a few times, or resorting to a guide to get past those few puzzles you might get stuck on, like had to.
I'm not sure about The Messenger, I think it might be just a bit too challenging for me... May have to swap it out for another game, if I can't get past this boss I'm stuck on at the moment...
26-6-2020 The Messenger dropped. That tri-wizard boss is just doing my frustration levels in, I can only handle so much bullshit damage from inconsistent hitboxes. Planet of the Eyes takes it's place.
Planet of the Eyes Beaten! Gah! 1.5hrs! Another friggin' short game... I need to find something else to justify this.
Let's add Kero Blaster to that list as well then. Hopefully I can still pull this off.

Adventure Pals was quite good, too, but it got a little repetitive. Imo it was too long, but beating it so quickly probably contributed to that feeling^^

I'll update this comment when i manage to start a new game. I'll start with
- Paratopic 14/20 achievements Beaten; played a second time for the missing achievements. Turns out i should have watched the credits again to get those registered... :(
- 11-11 Memories Retold 50/50 achievements Completed; what an amazing and powerful game this is...
- 60 parsecs! 19/40 achievements Beaten, 6 playthroughs
- Little Nightmares 12/22 achievements Completed; rest of the achievements is for the DLC (that I don't own). And speedrun, but that's just stupid.
- Dropsy 30/30 achievements Completed. Hugventure really IS the appropriate subcategory. What a nice positive game this is.
- Old Man's Journey (replacement of Snake Pass) screenshot of all levels available Completed (Wow, this one is really short).
Tried but stopped playing:
Snake Pass 11/33 achievements ARGH, this game keeps crashing halfway through levels eliminating all progress... I'm gonna stop this one for now; the harder levels are getting too frustrating with the crashes... Lowering the video quality seems to have helped a bit, but ragequiting is a bit too much of an option :D

Hello hello and welcome all to the madness.
The challenge is simple: Play and beat any 6 games, starting today, that have been featured in any given Humble Monthly/Choice bundle in one month.
The prize: Borderlands 3: Super Deluxe Edition
Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 6 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 6 +30h games. So long as they were in a monthly at a given point, it is all good.
Just post a comment with either screenshots/ achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.

Why you doing this?
I hate money. That and I realized I've been subbed to the monthly for nearly five years (yes it has been that long, I checked) and it occurred to me that I've barely touched the games I've gotten from it, let alone played them. Figured the same would be true for a few others, so I figured this is a good way to change that. A sensible person would probably unsub in this situation, but please refer to the beginning as to why that will not happen.
Why six games?
The first few monthlies had 6/7 games in them so I went with that.
How long are you going to do this?
Until my credit card statements gives me nightmares. I just got another credit card >:D Help me ;-;
This event "ends" on July 3rd when the next HB Choice releases, though the giveaway itself will end the next day. If you manage to finish game number six in between that time, feel free to post, but know that I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to give you the link in time. It may be hard to believe, but I don't live here. I am a real human living in a human home doing human things and in no way a rogue AI biding my time.
