My Ancient Greece super-hunt made no progress this week. I had a very buy week at work, and what puzzle time I had I spent making final preparations to run DASH 10 in my city, where I am the lead game control. DASH 10 plays in multiple cities around the world on the same day, this year 22 September. DASH stands for Different Area, Same Hunt - DASH. I hope you are playing if you like puzzles and it is in a city near you.

Therefore, the hunt for the mythical art thief Carmen SanFranciso carries on apace. Can you figure out where she is headed this time?

The giveaway runs until 23:59 pm GMT on Saturday 25 August. The prizes this week are Crowntakers and One Finger Death Punch.

Errata/Corrections

Beridok spotted a bunch of stuff wrong. I have fixed a bunch of typos, and corrected the wrong link for One Finger Death Punch as well as the wrong link for playdash.org.

I misspelled "detective", "enough", "capitals", "archaeological", and "the". I also discovered that just as the plural of "gold" is "gold", the plural of "beryl" is "beryl". So I fixed that too. None of this directly affected the solvability of the puzzle, but I did not want anyone to think that the misspellings were in some way part of the puzzle.

I also wrote about the country Tunis, rather than Tunisia. Very sorry. Fixed now.

Solution

That the items that she stole always began with the same letter as the country was supposed to be a clue. Carmen is visiting all of the countries where the capital of the country begins with the same letter as the country itself (Algiers, Algeria then Brussels, Belgium and so on). There are two such capitals she does not yet include: Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, Sri Lanka, which is not included for reasons that should be clear to anyone following the entirety of the hunt for Carmen SanFrancisco, and Maputo, Mozambique, which is the solution.
