Anyone else having trouble with Barter.vg?

I've been unable to log in for the past few days. I get past the steam login and then get a 'Secure Connection Failed' page. Tried clearing cookies and the like but still nada. Anyone else having this problem or is shit all funky?

It actually does work if you are already logged in. But yeah, it is a shame, match functionality is very useful.

Yep, but I usually don't stay logged in (with SG being an exception). Also you'll lose the cache, if you're not renewing it. So it won't be forever.

https://lestrades.com has a matching functionality.
It currently uses the user & tradable database from Barter, but due to Barter no longer working for many users, I'm working hard on adding a trading system similar to Barter's. It'll be coming this week for sure, so the transition shouldn't be too horrible.

Ah, you're here registered, too. I've seen that in the discussion on Steam and also already checked your website. Thanks for stepping in and good luck with implementing further functionalities. I'll watch out for it.

Yea, everyone who uses barter.vg make sure to grab copies of your tradeables and wishlist if you don't have copies elsewhere!

lestrade is trying to be the barter.vg replacement, but last I checked it just looked like a forum. Hopefully it will be ready soon so all the barter users have somewhere to go.

That is such sad news. Trading on Barter was so easy and pleasant compared to Steamtrades. I guess my trading days are over faster than I anticipated ;__;
