It can't be added, because ASF does not hook inside any processes, neither steam client. And it doesn't even require steam client to be running or installed, so not going to happen.

I was running Idlemaster about 8 months ago and forgot it was running when I entered a VAC secured server. I know they delay VAC bans, but after 8 months, I almost not worried anymore.

Make sure you close IdleMaster before actually starting a game manually on Steam that you intend on playing. Stay safe and you should not have any problems.

Yes, it can trigger VAC ban.
Will it do it? Probably not. But if you want to be safe, I suggest using ASF, which can't trigger VAC ban even if it wanted.

I've been using SIM for a very long time and no VAC ban till now, (main and alt accounts) so Im pretty sure its most unlikely to get a VACation just for using this, but still the chance its there like with SAM and ASF

No, because ASF does not hook any DLLs into steam program. Do not spread false information and confuse the unique method that ASF uses with classic DLL hooking used by IM, SAM or SIM. Thank you.

Idle Master is no longer supported. Just go with ASF for that reason alone.

Never heard of someone that got VAC Banned from using Idle Master. I use it a lot. Even while playing other games.
It just simulates you running a game. No reason to get banned.
True Idle Master is no longer supported, but it still works for me, so I'm still using it.
I personally didn't like ASF. A group on Steam used Idle Master code and created another program called KDB Card Dropper. I haven't used it yet but will surely give it a try once IM stops working.

I admit, ASF does have some more worrisome features that Valve might not like in third party software. So even if it doesn't have hooks, memory or file scan might be issue if VAC ever does that...

Idlemaster has worked perfectly fine for me to this date, but now that I've learned about ASF from this thread, I'm gonna have to look into that! Then i suppose if i have to use it will stick with ASF but as many people that said it isnt that safe makes me worrying a little, anyway guys thanks for clearing it out and helping me:)

It still depends what you understand by "safe".

All of those three can be called "safe" as noone of those is confirmed to do trigger VAC. However, if you call "safe" a possibility, rather than actual effect, then only ASF can guarantee being VAC-free, as IM and SAM use DLL hooking method into steam client to trigger game played, while ASF has it's own client and does not require steam running, it doesn't have to be even installed.

I know you would propably say of course it is and its a must so i wont have to grind for hours but wanted to do a poll and make sure before i use it,
