Why blacklisting?

People blacklist me whenever I try to be active in forums. Don't know what causes them to put me in their blacklist xD

I find I get blacklisted when leechers can't enter my SGtools GAs. Not sure if it's my loss though.

Of course it is for the achievements. There are several, depending on how many people you have blacklisted and on how many blacklists you are. Same for whitelists.

Well, it depends, you may have actually said something that upset someone without even realizing it, a lot of people are surprisingly sensitive. Maybe the internet hasn't zombified their brain yet.

If you haven't, then either someone blacklisted you after you claimed a gift so that you wouldn't win from them again (happens a lot too surprisingly), they didn't like your avatar (some people are sick of the whole "potato" thing), it was a person whos personal achievement is to blacklist everyone, someone couldn't enter your giveaway, some people blacklist people who win more than they give or it was purely a random occurance.

Don't look too much into it though, I doubt you're missing much.

I know some people who blacklist everyone who write a "generic Thanks" messages on her GAs

But, see, there's actually a meaning to blacklists: it just means that you're actively taking part to the community.
Also, the majority of blacklisters don't do giveaways anyway, so you aren't losing anything.

People blacklist for all kinds of reasons.
It's a personal thing and everyone is different, so there's no telling what anyone's particular reasons are.
Don't worry about it and move on. :)

Most people blacklist me because I said an unpopular opinion (or even fact) that most people have a knee-jerk reaction to, or made an offensive joke (dark humor). :3
Most people in my blacklist are those I blacklist back for being pussy enough over my posts to blacklist me, only one of them was a "difficult winner". :3
In your case, no idea, you're quite new here with not many GAs or comments made.

Just imagine blacklists as dislikes on YouTube videos: No matter how good the video is, someone would dislike it for no reason.

why people complain they have been blacklisted?

Some blacklist because we don't have a down vote. Some blacklist winners because they want to be fair to everyone and not feed games to one person. Some people blacklist just because. It isn't worth worrying over why they black listed you. Just be yourself and let karma do the rest.

I've been blacklisted and I don't know why... EVERY TIME. Mostly because, y'know, people tend to never tell me/you/anyone why.

People use blacklists differently. If you want to see some reasons, use the search feature on the forums and look for "why do you blacklist people?" and read away. Some are for rule breakers, some are for people who are racism/sexism etc, some are for spam posts (shit posts and stabbing etc) and/or some are just because they don't like the person etc.

If you are on this site just expect blacklists each time you comment. It doesn't matter what you say, there will always be someone who doesn't like you. As long as you give and be social then the whitelists will come. Words of advice, making posts about this topic is going to get you blacklists... Hell, when I hit submit comment, I'm probably going to get blacklisted.

Personally, I'm on 40 blacklists for a gimmick I do mostly... Some (or at least two I know of) is because the person just doesn't like me as a person. Just don't focus on them, those 40 people to me at just faces on the forums I'll probably never interact with and honestly (please don't think this is bragging) but I think about the 600+ lovely people that thought I was at least slightly good enough to be on their whitelist. That makes my day :3
