As title says, so far i've played.

Shovel Knight.
Cyber Shadow.
20XX.
The Messenger.

Got any recomendations? I got few titles on wishlist which are.

Bloodstained series.
Icey.
Metal Unit.
Blazing Chrome.
Bushiden (Not released yet)
Flynn, Son Of Crimson (Not released yet)
Steel Assault (Not released yet)

Any recomendations for released games, or upcoming ones? I prefer asking here, because search button on steam sucks, and not allways shows me, what i want.

My friend and I completed Blazing Chrome recently. Was a really tough experience, Cuphead-like(guess I haven't played that much old-school games to refer to something else), but more unforgiving. And it is a bit too short, it took us maybe 4 hours on normal difficulty. Want to play Valfaris too, pity it doesn't have co-op. I hope you didn't skip HUNTDOWN, really liked the game, great style and gameplay, unique bosses, has online co-op, finished the game 2 times already. And the Door Kickers Action Squad, which was mentioned before too, is similar in style, though gameplay-wise it is kinda a tactical game, but it is A LOT of fun in co-op, wish there would be more games like that.

I've recently been playing Gemini Rue, and it's a rather engaging game that feels a lot like some classic adventures I've played. But fuck the shooting sections, though.

Though it isn't NEW new, it's "new" enough to not be a classic game.
Other than that? idk. I can ask friends, though.

Just how new do you want?

It certainly is worth the sale price. If I hadn't won it, I'd buy it for myself during one of my Cyberpunk/Adventure binges.

Robot Wants It All is a classic Flash game (or should I say series of Flash games) that is very fun. https://store.steampowered.com/app/834760/Robot_Wants_It_All/

Anodyne is a Zelda-style game I 100% recommend. https://store.steampowered.com/app/234900/Anodyne/

198X - Fun multi retro game with good story but really short (around 1-1.5 hours for finsih it)
Slipstream - Really good Outrun like
Panzer Paladin - Correct Mega Man like, can be found for pretty cheap because was on humble choice.
Mega Man Legacy Collection - A classic, but too hard for me ...

I have Panzer Paladin and Mega Man Collections. Slipstream don't look intriguing for me, while 198X tried won few times here.

I love retro games(i had a snes). I love platformers (and im good at then, above normal so my friends always told me)
Despite that, maybe its my adhd, but i dont ever play just one game at once, 90% of the time i dont even finish a game before moving to another genre and coming back months or a year+ later
And when games are short and really good i tend to force stop myself- so they can 'last longer' somehow

I dont know why but this game i finished in one go:
pharaoh rebirth
Its not incredible or must play (and not even close to the real gems bellow), but something of its charm and flow stuck with me. Idk why it came up so quickly in my head to recommend here, even if i havent replayed it in years

The next 2 are hard to recommend- theyre absolute gems, among the best and most unique in my and many opnions...
...but definetly NOT for everyone: La-Mulana 1 (and apparently 2 too)
La-mulana 1
La-mulana2

I was writing about then but it was getting ridiculously long. Just look some videos and reviews in details- its the most dark souls metroidvania-platformer ive ever seen, maybe the only PLATFORMER soluls- sure theres hollow knight and some dozen or so 2d souls-like, but they mimick the souls-like combat of dark souls in 2d. La-mulana combat is the most simple thing... what is trully challenging and rewarding is the Platforming and exploration/mastery of its world. Every iten, stone, lore, everything matters in some way.

I was hooked and addicted, and doing it proper (no guides, there s a LOT of game there, and seeing the answers kinda defeats half of it)- but i had a burnout at one point and im yet to return and finish the first, reason why ive holded on the second one (but the reviews say its as good as the first)

Both recomendations feel similar (platformer, metroidvania like, tomb raiding) but theyre extreme oposites- Pharaoh is chill, flowy, charming... La-Mulana is an entire alien and esoteric world to get lost into, being beaten all the way and learning to love that pain until conquering it

I had in mind La-Mulana bvack in time but idk, lost intrest somehow. I will reconsider it again or not due to difficulty curve.

Too bad some comments are deleted, but eh let's move on.
