A while ago I built myself a new PC and with my GPU I got a free copy of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Now I really don't give a fuck about this game, so I haven't activated the code yet. It's not a Steam game either (it uses Ubisoft's shitty U-Play thing) meaning I can't even give it away as a proper steamgift. So to just get it over with, I'm going to give it away in this thread.

I'm going to sleep in a short while. Post why you want this game and why I should give it to you, and when I wake up I'll pick the post I like best and contact you with the activation code.

Well i wouldn't mind having the game, haven't played any SS games after the chaos theory one (only played/completed the first 3), so i'm kinda outdated on the series...

If it follows the old-style SS games then i'm pretty sure it's my kind of game, i'm not sure what it looks like now, i believe double agent came after chaos theory and that one made me loose interest a little bit on the series. This sort of thing happens with sequels usually, i guess.

Free is my favorite price. Also first is over-rated. Second is where it's at.

Actually the third one (Chaos Theory) is the best.

The first two were pretty cool too.

Haha! I meant the first poster was over rated and you should pick the second poster(me). But I agree Chaos Theory was the best one.

I haven't played since the very first on PS2 and I wouldn't mind giving this one a try.

i've been looking forward to this game for so long. I have it wishlisted on Steam but i read it's going to be timed-exclusive for Uplay. So, it won't be available in Steam or any other digital distribution places for the next 6 months. And actually what really upset me is this Nvidia's promo wasn't even available when I bought my GTX770 on early June. I got nothing out of it and not even Metro LL (they were 660-680 exclusive). TBH, I feel kinda of ripped off by Nvidia by being an early adopter :(

So, i am really hoping that you will be generous enough to give me this AWESOME game and i'll be really grateful. Thanks! (and good luck for the others too.)

the problem is he finally got the code from Newegg, where he actually purchased his card from, and not directly from Nvidia.

I feel your pain; I bought a 780 a week before they started giving it away with them :(

You should give it to centerstran01, a YouTube user specialized in Stealth games. He has been playing all Splinter Cell games in 100% stealth. I think he deserves it.
On the other hand he has a job and gets money from YouTube Partnering so...
EDIT: Oh, and I wouldn't say no to a free copy either ;)

I'm a big fan of stealth games. I don't really know why you should give it to me, but I'd greatly appreciate it if you did because I'd love to play it.

I would want the game just because I want to play it. I played before a Splinter Cell game (A long time ago). I don't really thing Ubisoft is a shit to be honest :) If you will pick me I'm gonna enjoy the game to death. I also won other games on SteamGifts Forums like this one and I played 30 hours of them (EX: W40K Dawn of War // Gatling Gears). Oh I almost forgot that I love stealth games. I'm actually playing Warframe which is supposed to be a stealth game but you can't really be stealthy :(.

Thanks :)

I don't actually think I deserve this game in any way, but if the game is free to get why shouldn't I try out my luck.

Just trade it on steamtrades for a steam game or so, wouldn't it be a better idea buddy?

Well I want this game, because I have never played any of Tom Clancy series. I was thinking about buying Splinter Cell: Conviction and then Blacklist came up, so I was hoping to get Blacklist xD. I don't mind what game client it uses. I use uPlay for Far cry 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I really like the concept of Blacklist; being hired as an agent by the president and 'Murica depending on you is pretty funny c:.

I don't know why you should give it to me, as a lot of other people has a valid reason too. I just want to try the game and I've had it on my wish list since it went on Steam. I want a lot of games tbh ^-^. Thanks for reading this, I know it's quit long to answer your 2 questions.

Edit: Btw I'm a HUGE fan of Stealth games :D I got 12 out of 13 garrisons using stealth in Far cry 3 Blood dragon (GOOD GOOD game)

I'm thinking of buying a new GPU but for the moment I haven't really the money... but with the free SC it's a hard quest not to buy... so if you would give me the copy my problem would be solved and I don't have the urge of purchasing the GPU ;)

If I win, this will be the first stealth game I've ever played, and will set the standard for all games of it's genre. And having only heard good things about Tom Clancy, I can only look forward to playing it.

I don't really have a good reason why I deserve the game, but you could give it to me because I'm too poor to buy AAA games on release and usually I have to wait a few months to a year to buy it at an affordable price.

I want Blacklist very much. But I am not going to tell you why, because I don't want to whore myself out on the internetz. Nice of you to give it away here on the forum though. :)

Well, when I was younger I had a bad PC and I couldn't play most of the games. Right around that time, my favourite magazine PcPlay wrote an extensive playthrough of only first level of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (that picture of Sam on top of the lighthouse and on the beach, at the very beginning of the level is something I'll always remember) on around 5-6 pages. Basically, after reading it about ten times I became a huge fan. Unfortunately (or luckily, depends on how you look at it) I got to play Splinter Cell: Chaos theory on my computer only few years later. I remember when I got it, first game I played was Company of Heroes, second one was - of course - Splinter Cell. After that I got hooked on to Splinter Cell and it is one of the rare games I'm a fan, no matter what. I loved the third one and I still do. I played the rest of them, first one and second were good but the third one was and, will be, phenomenal and will always remind me of that time when it was so easy for me to fall in love with a game...
That's it... Cheers ;)

Splinter Cell was my first stealth action game, and I instantly fell in love with it. Played it for hours on the end, and made the most out of the first three games.
I stopped when I finished the Chaos Theory, though, and forgot about Splinter Cell through the years.
The announcement of a "Spies vs. Mercs" game mode in Blacklist got my attention back. That was something I never got to try in the Splinter Cell franchise, my copies were for the PS2, and was disappointed that Conviction didn't include it. Thanks a lot for this opportunity.
TL;DR Spies vs. Mercs, would play this mode out like a 10 year old's first video game. I'm super hyped for this.
