My favorite game off the top of my head would have to be Morrowind. Spent 800+ hours on one guy..... I had 7 characters.

After that, Halo 2. On Xbox live alone played over 5000 games.

Both games are time well spent that I will never get back.

PAYDAY: The Heist!Awesomest Co-op experience for me

There have been so many fantastic games made since the 1970's that it's difficult to pick a favorite. My best guess would be a toss-up between Planescape: Torment and the Baldur's Gate series. Honorable mentions would include Diablo II LOD and the Neverwinter Nights series, both of which continue to be fun after thousands and thousands of hours.
