You cared enough to comment, and so did I to try to find out if new items have visible trade-lock on them or only the owner sees it to check it if it's there for a longer time or really got it recently.
(also, if you get 5$, use it to make 6, and give back the 5 to your friend you still have 1$ profit compared to the 0 :D )

ah the fallacy of the I won one dollar so the sites are not a scam - perhaps the friend might have liked to have their skins back though :) - also I have no idea what you are talking about with the trade lock thing - I don't bet on sites like that - and I commented because this is not a forum related to that site and I think the op would be better off finding a forum related to that site to tell that story - not here :) (and the care with regrads to commenting was not relating to the op, but that this is a spam post and we already suffer from an annoying amount of shitposting - but that is a personal opinion that others may not have :)

With the best intentions:
1: I think people are free to post about other site if they have something to tell, aren't they? I mean there is no "post only about SG or Steam here" rule for Steamgfits.
2: " try to find out if new items have visible trade-lock on them or only the owner sees it to check it if it's there for a longer time or really got it recently." It's Steam's own trade-lock, when you get a new item you can not trade / market it for 7 (or 14?) days - I tried to check if OP's Redline has a limitation on it, because if it would it would mean he got it recently so at least wouldn't go 100% against his story. and why would I be interested in it?
3: because there is no "fallacy of the I won one dollar so the sites are not a scam". He could legit get the skin from the site and being the very lucky few % to get anything from there (even scam sites work better if they pay sometimes a little, so the public gets more daring) . Or got it from a friend, made a " I won 100$ but instead of a knife I just got a 7$ skin" topic with his reflink in it and waited for the profits. We don't know.
3.5: Sa6peto :"you havent won anything to begin with ... you just got scammed ." I wouldn't call getting 1$ profit being scammed. Can the website otherwise cause people to lose money? Yes, that's how gambling works as well. I didn't say the site is not a scam. I said he did not get scammed. Pay attention to the details :)

that is way too much for me to care to read - soooo no :P - if it looks like a scam, smells like a sccam, and is to do with a betting site, then it is likely a scam - this post from the op is not even touted as a PSA !!! - also his friends skins lost all their stickers - which I am told that some people like and strive for - but different strokes I guess

If you would take a little time to read stuff, you would be surprised that I nowhere said that it's not a scam. Also, it started as a joke as a reply to "you havent won anything to begin with" -> "that's 1$ profit! :D". Why do you even start replying to stuff you didn't understand and you don't even bother to read it? o.O

because - as you stated in your reply "I think people are free to post about other site if they have something to tell, aren't they?"
and I did :P - I posted that I thought that the other site was a scam and that this was my opinion - I am sorry that you cannot understand that this is only my opinon, and I apologise if your failure to understand that is somehow upsetting - but I cannot be held responsible for how you feel about my replies to the op - again, my apologies if this upsets you in any way - but as you said, we are free to post :P

I think the op would be better off finding a forum related to that site to tell that story - not here
You said it
so the rule doesn't exist when you want to talk about it, but you want to silence others? Speaking about fallacies

no I want the op to go elsewhere and post in a relevant forum, and my comments with regards to the scam were largely directed at the op and their apparent misunderstanding that they are potentially being scammed but not realising it (please see the ops remarks further down in the thread) - were I trying to silence the op in any way I would not be openly conversing on the subject with you - but to be honest you appear to be more interested in arguing over obtuse points, when I have already appologised for your apparent misunderstanding of my points; or perhaps you are misunderstanding on purpose, at this point I am unsure - perhaps you might be better targeting someone who actually wants to argue with you ? :P (or you could just understand that someones opinion is their own, and not yours, and that they cannot be held responsible for you misunderstanding or misconstruing their opinion :) who knows)

mate.... the site is complete scam .
You play with nothing using some money that you got for registering and win some shit ... then it ask you to deposit stuff in order to withdraw some from it ... and then bam some error and you cannot withdraw your stuff.
Thats been happening for like 2 years now ... i cant believe people actually still fall for that scam.
You did not win shit , it was just some random crap to make you believe you won ...

betting site? You lose money the moment you get money in

and that's why people under the age of 18 shouldn't have access to the market, and to money online

Some amusing tidbits:
Internet gambling sites already have teens and young adult users on their sites. A whopping 20% of college students play online poker at least once a month according to the Annenberg Public Policy Center, an organization that has tracked young peopleโs use of gambling sites for over 10 years.
Online gambling is illegal for anyone below the age of 21. Every state prohibits gambling by minors. That's why gambling sites don't pay out to kids and go to great lengths to verify the identity of any winner.
[Presumably, they're more concerned with retaining the funds they would otherwise have to pay out than with the legality, given that gambling sites as a rule have inadequate or hard-to-find warnings about underage gambling prohibitions, and some 20 percent have no warning at all.]
I wonder if underage gamblers ask an of-age friend to collect, if they plan to hold out on cashing anything until they turn 21, or if they're just resigned to lose from the start. :P
Well, those quotes are for the States- I can't find any age-based legal restrictions related to online gambling for Brazil, so your point definitely has extra emphasis there. o.O;

hmm i have an example of how wrong this can go. Let me see if i can find it.

I think any gambling is restricted under the age of 18, at least in the European Union, and casinos and things like that are for people that are 21+

Lol, getting scammed and don't even know it.
Think about it from the point of view of the scammer. Did the scammer lose anything? No, you put in $5 and basically took out $5. Obviously they made it so that you could only take out the same amount what you put in, otherwise it would be "error". But now that you 'think' it works, you are far more likely to put in more money, once you put in a nice amount (what's the point of just scamming for $5 when you could scam someone for $20 with a bit of patience?), they'll just take it all :).

and tried to bet the rest of my coins ($90)
This was your problem. Why the hell would you bet everything at once? From a statistical point of view, you might as well flush all your money down the toilet. By following this strategy you have 0% chance to win and 100% chance to lose. Even if the site would give you error forever, you'd be better off trying to withdraw or stick to your 1-10 dollar bets.

Hmmmm...So....let me tell a little story that happened to me
i was traveling on the internet when a found a cool betting site....
i search for a random promo code and started to play...
because of the fact of my credits are free coins from a promo code....i was making all in in all rounds on crash with a 1,20x multiplicator....
so....at certain moment...the money started to raise extremely fast...in $5 that i bet on 1,20x i make a $1 profit...and when i reach the $50 i was making $10 dollar per round...
So...when i reach the $100 dollar...i stopped....i has money to withdraw a knife.....THE FIRST KNIFE IN MY WHOLE LIFE....but when i try to withdraw....i've got a error...."you need to deposit at least $5"
So i asked for my friend for $5 in skins....i say that i was only deposit and withdraw the skins of him...
Okay...i make this...and tried to withdraw a knife....but i can't withdraw for a unknown reason...so, take it an ak redline instead...
and tried to bet the rest of my coins ($90)....
...
...
THE WORST THING I'VE EVER DONE
i bet on the 1,20x as always....but for my surprize....i lost all.....$90 HAS GONE TO THE LIMBO
But at least i'm satisfied with the result...because i didn't spend nothing on the site...
i thank to everyone that read the history of how i get from shame to fame...then to shame again
bye
