Yeah, a majority of the community are a bunch of bad eggs. You're more than welcome to join our group and play with friendly people.
Edit: We'd also love it if you invited your friends. We'd love to have a big enough community so we can host events, or even a giveaway or two.

Even in bot matches, your own teammates can still complain about KSing, feeding, etc.

This is a good idea. After about 200 hours of dota 2, I know exactly what you're talking about...

if people in bots ever try to talk shit just tell them that they dont play the game until they play ranked matches. friggin noobs everywhere talking shit bout stuff

People play coop matches to get easy first win bonus it's not to troll others..
Try playing 1750+ elo ranked games everybody thinks he knows the best and lots of people are all day playing freaks so they don't even bother trying when they decide the game is lost. And they can decide that after first blood or before 10 mins...

Cool, if it's more than just Dota 2, I'll join! (I can't run Dota 2 on my main computer).

After playing just a mere few hours of Dota 2 ( FEW due to my Exams are coming up ) , i haven't had to deal with rude gamers yet. However, TF2 is so immensely filled up with immature,rude,mic-spamming and hat scamming little kids who think selling hats makes them somehow far more superior that i have stopped playing the game. So yeah, i know what you mean. See ya inside the group :D

I'm terrible in Dota 2(I admit I'm a newb). The learning curve is steep so I gotta practice with Bots. Great idea inviting the more forgiving people into the group. I've always wanted to play with others without getting mocked by 'tards who scream "Noob" on the mic. Looking forward to gaming with you guys :P

I remember that guy, yeah. But you know what, instead of trying to hide from the fact that people like that exist I got my shit together and am better for it now. The pressure from teammates shouldn't be taken as an insult, they just want you to get better but can't communicate that properly, because you're making the game harder for them. Imagine you spend two hours building a house of cards and some guy takes a middle piece out because "he's not that good at building and he didn't know it would fall".

Very nice initiative! I'll admit, the general unfriendly attitude of the average gamer keeps me away from the entire MOBA genre. I know for some it's all about a psychological tactical advantage and no true malice is behind it -- but I don't give most of them that credit. I try to keep my public groups list to a minimum, but... think I may just have to join. :)

Haha, no.
Having played ... 'MOBAS' (I dislike that word) for about 7 years now, I can assure you that there isn't a single person out there that insults you WITHOUT malicious intent. Either they're venting because they lack the social etiquette to communicate with other human beings, or they're simply getting off on the misery and anger their words illicit from you. It's easy for the world to pretend that ignoring them somehow takes away the sting of the words, but everyone on that server knows how they chip away at your self-esteem and dignity, until you're either so sick of it that you either join them in the heckling or leave that place forever. Neither of those groups care a whit about your feelings because, in short, they are assholes.
There are good people too. They're just not a very vocal bunch. Hope you find likeminded individuals as yourself here.

Nice, going to try it since I hate to play Dota 2 with so many assholes.

dota 2 is the worse community i've met so far...
It's fun to taunt the enemy, but that's not what they do... instead of yelling a big MISS to a pudge who didn't hook you, they must wsay the pudge doesn't know how to play and should kill itself....
but its still better to play matchmakind than playing with brazilians.. so... what can i do?

After 100 hours of playing dota you realised how horrible people can be?
Bitch please!
I played 3500 hours Dota 1 + 600 hours Heroes of Newerth + 1500 hours League of Legends + 200 hours Rise of Immortals
So dont try to be gandalf, srsly. That title is reserved to Monukai anyway...

Let's face it, we've all seen our fair share of rude gamers. Remember the guy who would mock your ability whenever he killed you? Remember the guy on your team who kept telling you that you were terrible and need to learn how to play? Remember the guy who claimed you got "owned" or "wrecked" whenever something bad happened to you? Don't you just hate that?
After playing over 100 hours on Dota 2, I realized how horrible people can be, so I created a group for all the good sports who just want to have a good time playing games. If you would like to join, we've love you to. You can find our group here, and we would love friendly and forgiving members.
