Got the same e-mail. My first key worked, as far as I know. (Haven't really run the game yet, just have it activated in Origin.)
(And for those who will inevitably wonder... no, the new key doesn't work in Steam either... :P)

Obviously begging is not allowed here so it would be totally inappropriate for me to beg for the key in a humiliating and degrading way. I would in no way beat a homeless person for you for their prized Hobo Blood to grant you eternal life in exchange for the key. Nor would I ride naked through the streets in a gimp suit puling you in a chariot behind me singing praises to you for the key. Indeed such things would be beneath me.
Oh just give me the damn key!:P

Yes the EA and Steam forums are buzz because Steam had a sale on Dead Space and lots of people couldn't activate it. It seemed to bleed over to Amazon as well so it's not a Steam issue or an Amazon issue. It looks liek EA did something with the keys and had to reissue them.

When you activated your own Dead Space 2 on Origin, use these keys to activate the game when you launch it for the first time.
B6P7-M8SR-P6LU-DLZS-MU8V or HTWE-42T9-JNRN-P9DD-HTLY. These keys are USED, they're only for activating the game upon launch goddammit.

naw, it's not for the game purchase itself, use your own damn key to activate it. I only said to use these keys when you try to launch the game once you've activated it on your purchase key. (if that made sense..) and you did miss it satoru, about a year ago, these keys are used but they still work for activating the game upon launch

Same here.. There's no way to get the old key right? Because I wonder if it really changed and I really can activate the new one :D Anybody had issues with the key so far, maybe in multiplayer?

I got one of these as well, but I believe my first key worked just fine. I haven't actually "played" the game, but I've run it to the title screen and changed in game settings. I also just tested multiplayer (but I got disconnected...wireless). Seems to me my key was fine so I'll have a spare as well. I'll be holding onto mine for a few days though before I decide what I want to do with it.
