When does summer start ?

End of June, and beginning of August it begins again.

Depends. University's have their exams throughout April and they don't return till September. Elementary and secondary schools end on the last week of June and return on September as well.

For now, most colleges and HS below kids, it's April to May. For some of our universities, it starts June. They've implemented a new scheduling/program this year, that's why it's different. But I believe most, if not all, will shift into to the June-Aug vacation period

In Belgium, school starts on 1 september and ends the 30th june. If you're still in high school like me.
If you go to university school doesn't start untill October.

Since I'm not longer in school and working full-time, I don't get to have summer. :P
I have 2 weeks off that I will probably take at the end of July.

schools usually end of june, staring again at 1st september. for universities it varies from one to the other, some have exams in june some at start on july, but if you pass everything your uni starts 1st october so you get 1 month of vacation extra.

Well I guess it depends on what your occupation is no matter where you are. In Greece schools start on September 11th and close around June 15th. Universities start in early October and the Summer Finals end sometime in late June-early July(September is a month where you retake failed previous exams). If you're done with education and are working it mostly depends on the job and employer but most commonly you get your vacation days in late July-early August which usually last 2-3 weeks.

Summer starts July 16 and ends July 21 when it's back to work. <sigh> At least summer will be spent at the beach.

Our Summer starts this Wednesday (April 20th), when the temperature climbs to 97-degrees Fahrenheit.
